Call quality was poor when I could make a call. Living in Asia, using data and wifi it simply wouldn't work 90% of the time trying to call private mobile numbers and trying to call businesses in Ireland. I believe the default number is detected as fraud. Just doesn't work.

Looking for an alternative to Skype, which has stopped, Google suggested Startacall. I could not obtain their verification code.After many attempts I wrote to complain and received a bland unhelpful reply from "William", the founder. Undeterred I tried a week or so later, and was slightly more successful in that I got a code. So I paid $10 to have some call credit, only to find that customers need to have a US or Canadian address otherwise you couldnt go further. They just assumed all would be customers are from North America! Didnt warn about this limitation before accepting, indeed asking us to pay. Unhelpful, inefficient and frankly, deceptive. They must get many unrecoverable donations. I hope my credit card details do not get misused so I shall keep a watchful eye. I cannot recommend this company.
