Scam , I ordered 2 tickets for Liverpool v Man Utd in October tried to email today and it got sent back , I tried to get on their website which is down surprise surprise, brought them trough Klarna who I have contacted and it’s now under investigation so hopefully i will get a full refund , I hope everyone who has had the same issue gets back what there owed.

AVOID startickets.co.uk it is a FAKE SITE!!! AVOID..Email address on the rcpt is a Gmail account and just bounces back your emails. There's no phone number to call. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Ordered tickets for my son for the Liverpool v palace game tomorrow no tickets have arrived don’t buy from this seller it’s a scam one email saying they will send them next week we ordered on the 24th last month now no replies scam scam scam

Hi this is Perry pagden I can assure you that I have not opened this business and had absolutely no knowledge of this if want for a few people messaging me through social media I wouldn’t have known my identity has been stolen to make up a company ! I have contacted the action fraud team and I have contacted the company’s house to get this company shut down im absolutely sickened for what’s happened for what it’s worth I’m sorry I had my identity stolen and how this looks on me I feel destroyed I will try get to the bottom of this and will help in any enquiry’s I have nothing to hide

SCAM SCAM SCAM no tickets and no communication…. This is a scam ordered tickets initially good communication but now it looks like it’s a scam

Scammed on 2 Liverpool games. Emailed over 8 times to be told these be sent. Avoid this is a scam

Seem to have the same experience as everyone else relating to startickets.co.uk has anyone contacted Perry Pagden from Boston who supposedly created the site?

SCAM. Paid £170 for 2 liverpool tickets for Liverpool v Bournemouth. Had a few emails back and fore and was told I would receive my tickets today. Not replying to my emails today and website unavailable. 100% SCAM.

Brought 3 tickets to go Wembley Liverpool vs crystal Palace and have received nothing. I've emailed company multiple times just to be told Rest assured your tickets will be sent. I didn't get them and have started a investigation with my bank to get money back. I've spent £450 and I've lost out. Please don't buy any tickets and stay clear. All the good reviews are not legitimate and will be used to convince you its fine. Stay away please don't lose your money.

SCAM SITE. No response to emails, I even had a call from them after I ordered charity shield tickets and didn’t like the vague response to my emails asking when I would receive them 😒 I was reassured they were legit and he was very convincing that I decided to hang on in there (bigger fool me)I have now notified Klarna and have frozen payment as I used pay in 4 option this doesn’t make it any easier to let the kids down tho. These people are really the lowest form of life ✊🏻💦

Scam! Website now closed and cannot contact them. Had to raise a dispute with my bank to get a refund and they tried to take multiple payments from my account.

Ordered 2 tickets for Liverpool v Bournemouth on 23rd July. I received an email letting me know my order was being processed but didn’t state anything of how I would receive the tickets or when.
It’s now 3rd August and have heard absolutely nothing. These tickets have put me out of pocket so I can give my boyfriend an amazing birthday gift and it would be so awful if this turns out to be a scam.
I have checked the website and it is apparently under maintenance?? Convenient.
I have sent an email chasing today and hoping for one back very soon otherwise my bank will be contacted for retrieval of funds.

If this turns out to be legitimate I will edit my review but if not then I will edit it straight to a 1 star and have some very more strong words for this company.

I hope I am proven wrong but it’s not looking likely at the moment.

I purchased 2 rickets last week for a football game at a cost of £500. They were VIP tickets. I was told tickets would be issued on the 4th August. Heard nothing and site is now under maintenance. Hope I'm wrong but after reading other reviews I'm cocerned!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVING GITS!

Stupidly got fooled into purchasing two tickets for Community Shield 2025. I’ve heard nothing since order & now website is ‘under maintenance’ whilst the e-mail is not receiving mail & there is no contact number!

I’ve not got to raise a dispute with CC company to try get my money back!

Sadly I should have known it was too good to be true, but if my actions stop someone else from being scammed then I’m grateful.

Folks steer well clear, site is now down, had to call credit card company to try get money back. They attempted to take a further £800 from my account which was thankfully refused by the bank.

Hope i get sorted out with a refund but, if you have purchased get on the ball ASAP as you could be rinsed out.

Be very dubious about this site. Reviews on here from people saying they bought tickets for last season yet the company was only set up in June 2025. Also, the director of the company has a criminal record related to football and is banned from attending matches. Not quite the upstanding businessman it would seem.

Yes, the company is on 'Companies House' that doesn't make it legitimate - anyone can set up a company, make some money and then dissolve it leaving the consumer out of pocket.

The company endorse Stripe and Klarna payments which are not safe ways to pay - Stripe have a very inadequate customer service - very poor reviews on here also!

Klarna generally does not pay out for fraudulent purchases made through their platform. You will find it very hard to claw back your money.

And the small matter of sending off your proof of address to them along with them having your payment details.. that's just ludicrous!

Nice try Star Tickets - I'm sure you will make lots of money from desperate fans and I pity those that fall for it. Hopefully they will read this review or at least do their own research before being tragically scammed out of their hard earned money.
