I had a very unique and amazing internship experience with start me up in Bali. Being able to work on a renewable energy project in a very small team gave me a lot of responsibility and opportunity to make my own design choices. I also had the chance to communicate with different engineering professionals which was very cool too but the one thing that could be improved is professional involvement in the project itself, so I would recommend organizing internships in companies and organizations that already have an engineering professional in them (if the internship is for an engineering student). Finally, the program also offered talks and visits to different and diverse companies in Bali that were extremely interesting, informative, and opened me up to a new understanding of entrepreneurship and local-scale sustainability
