I too was taken by these guys and…

I too was taken by these guys and although the software was working the fact is we all lost access to the software and also lost our money. My credit card company could not track them down so they did not refund my money. I am pursuing these guys and get our money back. Once i get solid identification of who and where they are i will provide an update to all. i will start a thread on Reddit as well.

SCAM!

Was going great and then got shut down by the Schwab API team. We were told we would be getting a refund and be able to move on with our lives but have not received any refund as of yet.

Update for my previous review

Update for my previous review. Investment program that worked great at the beginning, but tanked in short time. After the Charles Schwab API cancelled the program, the program dissolved. All company related people who enrolled and onboarded customers got scattered and out of the program. email says developer doing something else. But doesnt return our $9900 eventhough they sent email that they will payback. Now iam going throught the painful process of credit card dispute. Its been several weeks and no money back yet. How can these people be punished? Rouges!!!!!

Star XOX The Founder

The Founder, who likes to sign his communications as "Anonymous" has now been identified as Nick Bean from Tennessee. You can see him on LinkedIn as a Sr. Software Engineer. He took MANY people's $9,900.00 licensing fee, then had issues being approved on the Charles Schwab Platform. He didn't perform (for some no performance for others only a few months) and still kept everyone's licensing fee. He supposedly wants to get his 65 license hopefully the SEC will get wind of what he has done! Seemed like he might have had a good service but stoel people's money at the end.....

Was Going Great, Now Everything Stopped and No Communcation

I've been with Star XoX for six weeks, and the results have been good. I received the same email from Schwab stating they canceled the API on my account but wouldn't elaborate. Star XoX emailed me another agreement they want me to sign. I signed my original agreement in early July, and if they're going to make any changes to our original agreement, they need to use an addendum. The new agreement does not refer to the original agreement so if I signed it, I would have two agreements. The new agreement states that I must pay the licensing fee within 72 hours, which I already paid with the original agreement. I've emailed the sales rep and support, and so far, no response. Communication is so important when things are not going as planned. This is disappointing.

I've been trading a month now

I've been trading a month now, I started trading back on July 19 and it's now August 19 and I've done 33% in the first month and the bot has been trading as advertised. I've had days where it's up and days when it's been down, but I'm very happy with the first month. Although today I just got a email from Charles Schwab saying that StarXox was kicked off the Schwab platform and I can't get a reason for this happening. I don't know if it's something I did, which it shouldn't be because I didn't do anything but sign up and run the program on the Schwab platform as directed. I've tried to get a hold of someone at the company, but I know they are on East Coast time zone and I'm Pacific Coast so I may not be able to get a hold of anyone until tomorrow. I'm wondering if anyone had the same experience. If can't run this program on Schwab and I can't run it on another brokerage platform then hopefully they'll refund my money for the algorithm, but we will see what happens.

I'm an ER doc looking to make some…

I'm an ER doc looking to make some passive income on the side. ER career longevity is trying. Thought I'd give Algo Day Trading a shot through Star XoX. Easy onboarding process. I like that I am working with Charles Schwab as my brokerage.

I am exactly 1 month in. I started with a $50K account and it's up 11% (at 30-day end). Keep in mind we had some crazy volatility in the market 8/2-8/6/24 where I lost +half of my initial profits. So to close 30 days with 11% gain, I am very impressed.

So far, I've experienced 2 connectivity issues (failed status of software with my CS account) midweek (which led to 2 lost trading days). Star XoX team provides easy instructions to re-establish the "PASS" algo trading status. The above sums up why I am cautiously optimistic/excited about what Star XoX is trying to do. I believe in the concept. I hope I continue to grow with Star XoX as they grow.

I plan to update here monthly to help guide others on their decision whether to join Star XoX.

Algo is faulty and lost most of my profits

I would hold off on investing anything. I am part of Star XoX and also part of a larger trading forum, and it's clear the bot is not as sophisticated as it seems. Since I have joined, it has wiped away half of my winnings, while on the same losing days, I see most others in my trading forum are ending the day in profit. In fact, in the past week, I had 4 out of 5 losing days while others had mostly winning days. The bot is supposed to close all positions in a day and has a stop out of 2%. Well, it has missed the daily stop out completely, leaving me holding a negative balance of thousands of dollars. I am sure they will improve at some point, but I'd hold off investing for now. The bot needs some work

Update: Day 2, when I was holding the massive negative balance, those open trades went deeper into the red and the Algo missed its 2% stop out again, wiping out all but 1% of my gains. I had to manually intervene to save it. I was assured the Algo was managing it, but clearly was not. An entire month of profit, almost done away with in 2 days. Support is not adequate - despite reaching out repeatedly, there is a very delayed response and requires multiple follow ups.

Proceed with caution.
