StatementSnap turns a PDF bank or credit card statement into a clean spreadsheet. Upload the file and you get back every transaction as an editable table — date, description, amount, running balance — ready to export as Excel, CSV, or a QuickBooks file. It works on any bank without a per-bank template, including scanned statements with no text layer. The part we care most about is the arithmetic. Most converters hand you rows and leave you to discover months later that three of them were wrong. StatementSnap adds up what it extracted and checks it against the opening and closing balances printed on your own statement. When those agree to the cent, you get a green "Balances reconcile" badge. That check runs in our own code, not in a language model — it is arithmetic we performed, not something a model asserted. When it does not reconcile, we say so plainly and show you which rows to look at, because a quiet wrong answer is the expensive kind. We know what we are asking you to upload. A bank statement is one of the most private documents you own, so here is exactly what happens to it. Your file is deleted one hour after parsing. The extracted data, and any export you generated from it, are deleted after twenty-four hours. Statement text is sent to Anthropic's API to be read into a table and is not used to train models. Nobody here reads your statements as part of normal operation. We never see or store your card details — payments are handled by Paddle, who act as merchant of record.
