I sent about 2,900 TON to swap into USDT on 13 October. The swap never happened. Support told me it failed an AML check and that they'd refund me to my wallet within 3-5 business days. I confirmed my address and waited. No refund.
On 19 October a different agent told me the first answer was "misinformation" and that I need to pass KYC to get a refund. I did it the same day and Sumsub showed my profile as verified. Support said the review usually takes up to 24 hours.
It's been two weeks now. Every time I ask, I get "no updates". Their last email said they can't give any ETA or guarantee any outcome, and that they're waiting for their liquidity provider.
The funds came from Telegram (Fragment payouts), nothing suspicious. A month ago I did the same kind of swap from the same wallet and it went through in about 20 minutes.
Be careful with bigger amounts here. I'll update this if I get my money back.
UPD 27 Oct: On 26 October, a day after I posted reviews about this, support suddenly asked me for Source of Funds documents: bank statements, payslips, tax returns, exchange statements and so on, with my full name on them. For two weeks before that I only got "no updates", and on 19 October they told me KYC was what the refund needed. Not a word about SoF until right after the reviews went up. It feels like a reaction to the reviews rather than a normal step. I'm answering it anyway.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had. Had to fight for my own money for almost a year, and even when the AML check has successfully passed, still have to wait.
Support is unprofessional and rude, tends to ignore valid questions.
No follow ups. Does not follow their own set timelines for updates and replies.
Avoid at all costs, there are plenty good ones.
Also this one has high fees.
NOTE: Ignore their response, they DID NOT sort the issue, even through KYC was passed and they said so, my money is still at their dispossal. Thieves, avoid at all costs.

I didn't have a physical ID so I had a hard time finding a way to convert a small amount of bitcoin to solana. I searched for a swap service that wouldnt require the KYC procedure a CEX would and StealthEX was the top of the list. 2 hours later I had my solana!

My 30 BNB swap has been frozen by StealthEX for over 3 MONTHS under a vague "compliance review" with zero real resolution. I received an email claiming the funds were handled per instructions from "competent authorities" and was told to contact a "Detective Benjamin Gross," said to be with the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, at an outside email address — with no case number provided and no explanation for why a Florida sheriff's office would have jurisdiction over an exchange registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
When I followed up, StealthEX's own "Compliance Team" reply was addressed to "Dear Marcia" — not my name — which strongly suggests this is a copy-paste template being sent to multiple unrelated customers rather than a genuine individual review.
Reading other reviews here, this appears to be a recurring pattern: funds seized after a swap, KYC demanded retroactively, and long unexplained delays or no resolution at all. My support ticket has been open for 3+ months with no real case number or answer. Posting this so others are aware before using this platform, especially for larger amounts.

My exchange has been frozen, and they are holding my funds while deliberately delaying the process. I have completed KYC and provided all the information they requested. They have simply taken my money.

Asked for KYC first , but after that im going through many shit
They asking me everything about my funds now and source now
Will update when they solve it
great experience! I exchanged xmr to btc without issues and without kyc.

Tried to do a swap for about $3000 and they are asking for KYC. I asked to cancel the swap and return my funds. They are refusing to return the funds without KYC. DO NOT use this service.
Update:
"our platform may request you to pass KYC only in cases, when the funds may be compromised and/or the transaction gets flagged by the security system."
But I don't want to give my personal information to a scammy looking site that I don't trust.
Last time I did a KYC, a few weeks later my identity got stolen and I had to go through a lot to fix things up. I don't want to risk that again.
So I am just asking you to return my funds. I don't want to do the swap. You cannot hold the customer funds hostage like this and force people to do KYC even if they don't want to do the swap. No one will use your service anymore.

WARNING: STEALTHEX IS CURRENTLY EXIT SCAMMING AVOID
It has been nearly a month they have stolen my funds.
First they said it was a KYC check due to AML, I completed KYC.
Then they said they need proof of funds, I provided full proof of the funds.
They then asked for even more personal information, I gave.
for the next 2 weeks daily there security team was said that they will give me an update soon, or in the next two, hours, this was every day, I sent over 100 emails to there security team and they did not even respond once.
then they made me wait a week without responding
then they said there was a investigation into the person who sent me the funds (from p2p platform), I asked them to share what are the details, they said sure, then 2 weeks later they do not respond, despite daily emails.
I asked for legal representiative from my broker due to stealthEX's scam attempt, my broker explained that my funds were from p2p, told them they are already AML compliant, and asked to return my funds.
They did not respond to my broker.
My broker then filed for damages against stealthEX in the Budapest court, and contacted stealthEX's legal team, CEO and others, for the name and contact detail of the legal representative of stealthEX. that was over a week ago and they did not respond even to my broker or the court.
My broker filed a further action to ban stealthEX in the EU area after the time expires that they are set to give authorities the legal information of themselves, however they seem to be ignoring everything and are in a process of exit scamming.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. THEY WILL BE BANNED IN THE EU SOON DUE TO FRAUD CHARGES. AND ALL THIS COULD OF BEEN SORTED IF THEY JUST REFUNDED ME AFTER PROVIDED EVERYTHING NECESSARY.

Would put 4,5 starts in the review instead of 5 because the one thing is is that its slow from time to time. out of +/- 50 transactions 5 to 10 took longer than expected. outside of this i got zero problems with StealthEX. always delivered like they say and its without KYC whitch i hate to fill out.
to the guy that left a review complaining about the exchange rate: its your own fault bro: always before exchange look up the price of your coins and the coins your exchange to, compare this to each other and see how many % you lose on the swamp and if you dont agree with your calculated loss you just dont swamp?. Calculated my lose every single time and its almost always between 1 to 3% whitch is fine

Very good ui and clear instructions. Would like to see associated fees breakdown and also transaction confirmations countdown. Very rare to find such KYC free exchanges. Superb!

Reply from StealthEX
Its good man fees are pretty damn high but i guess its the price to pay for no kyc

Held my $11K worth of crypto for over 4 days. I thought I'd been selectively scammed.
My swap from XMR was initially stuck at "exchanging" for hours. I contacted customer support about it (which apparently consists of one person, "George"). I was told they had problems and there would be a delay, nothing to worry about. A few hours later, the exchange suddenly went from "exchanging" to "Oops, something went wrong. The exchange couldn't be completed for some reason." I messaged George about it, he said "they" needed time to establish what went wrong and he'd get back to me in several hours. Very absurd situation. I messaged him again like 6 hours later and was told there was a "wallet maintenance issue" that shouldn't take longer than 24 hours to resolve and was asked for my email address.
The explanation didn't make much sense anyway because the website continued to be operational and I tested a small swap to XMR, which was completed in a rather short time (though in my experience, Stealthex is always slow to complete exchanges compared to their competitors and their website is unresponsive). Which further made me anxious I'd been selectively scammed. I messaged customer support again and was told by George one of their "liquidity providers" was undergoing wallet maintenance and that issuing a refund from another liquidity provider would be a "violation of security protocols". Obviously, the explanation was extremely fishy. The fact that the "liquidity provider" started their "maintenance" right when I sent them $11K worth of XMR and the fact that they now somehow couldn't send it back (and neither could any other "liquidity provider", and Stealthex didn't have any "liquidity" of their own).
Well, if you consult their FAQ, it turns out their "liquidity providers" are just major crypto exchanges like Binance, Kraken etc. They don't hold any assets of their own. They just profit off routing your swap through these exchanges using their own KYC documents. Now they might not be the only "swapping service" to do so, but it further undermines their explanation of why they had to hold my funds hostage.
I don't know whether they (if there's even a "they") were just gambling with my money or their "liquidity provider" (ie an exchange like Binance) froze their exchange and they had to provide some additional KYC documents (or fake them), though I would assume it was the former, but on the 4th day after my funds were stolen, I messaged George again (because despite his assurances that he'd keep me updated, he never messaged me himself) and miraculously, he suddenly declared Stealthex was ready to make a refund and asked me for a refund address. Except then he didn't make it and had to be nagged further. He sent the ~$11K worth of XMR around 12 hours later, which was a shock to me. I thought he'd just keep the money hostage forever.
