Nice, but over priced

The dresses are very expensive for what they are, the website is easy to use and the shipping is very fast though. I ordered 3 things, all prices at around $70, and they are nice casual dresses, however there is nothing special and they really could be $40.

Just had the worst experience with…

Just had the worst experience with Stelly. Ordered a dress that my granddaughter picked out for her 18th birthday. When she tried it on the material/lace was scratchy & made her itch. It was a bit big but if it weren't for the quality of the material we could have ordered her a smaller size. She could not have worn the dress anywhere and been comfortable. I sent the dress back explained this & asked for a refund. They refused giving me a credit voucher. I told Stelly several times that I am a 68 year old disabled pensioner & a voucher was no good for me as I couldn't use it and I really needed the money back as I had to buy my granddaughter something else to replace the dress for her birthday. They still refused. I found out my consumer rights and if a product or item cannot be used for its intended purpose then I am entitled to a refund. They still refused so I lodged a complaint with Paypal who I thought would look after me. Wrong. I don't know what information Stelly gave them but Paypal sided with them.I am very disillusioned with that decision because that means every time someone buys something from them they are guaranteed a sale because they won't give any refunds. The consumer has no rights. All I can say is there is no goodwill & it's no way to run a business because sooner or later it will come back to bite them

Absolutely worthless

I do not want to even give the star however I would like to share the experience to let everyone know how terrible this company is.

1. Poor quality not worth the price.
2. Arrive soooo late I’m the US customer.
3. So I cannot return since it already over the return period. They only provide 21days from order date and arrived three weeks later HOW can we return?
4. Customer service didn’t reply, ignore or doesn’t even exist.

Stay away from this store! Absolutely NOT worth spending money and time. Terrible experience!

There are a lot of much much better Australian stores. I hope Stelly will get what they have treated customer.

Poor quality of clothing and even worse…

Poor quality of clothing and even worse service! Contacted them about receiving a refund as the item I bought was terrible quality for premium price, stelly refused and has not responded to the claim I have put in with NSW fair trading. Obviously they have been through this plenty of times before!

I tried to purchase from Stelly…

I tried to purchase from Stelly clothing recently but some red flags came up. They asked me for my Passport and proof that I was using my credit card then ask for more personal information, I asked them why it was necessary and they said for new buyers(but I purchased from them before and was never asked for my personal information) I even explained to them I am not comfortable with this and I purchased before from them, they said because its in their policy. However, I cancelled the order since I don't want to send my information over. But then the very next day I get a call from my bank and someone tried to use my information for a big purchase in Australia. DO not trust a website that asks for your personal info it's not safe to send it even by email address they're always hackers online.

Really slow at responding

Really slow at responding, i called their hotline to ask why one of my items was not in my order as i wanted to use my credit note. I was told their hotline is only used for credit note and nothing else. Which is so stupid??

Do not trust...they just want your credit card details!

Do not trust! I purchased one dress for 95aud, my card was charged, I then get an email the next day from Stelly asking for me to send them a copy of my credit card and copy of my passport or ID. When I questioned this, they tell me that for new customers placing large orders (umm....I bought one dress) they need these documents. Frauds!!!

Not worth the hassle honestly!

Had terrible time after my dresses were 'no longer in stock' days after ordering and paying!

They kept have stock issues. Took a few days to resolve the issue and I felt like the staff were rude. My phone calls went unanswered and apparently couldn't be given a refund though the company I initially paid with..

In the end I got some dresses the fit was okay and the quality was pretty good. But it was way too much of a hassle and settled for items I didn't really want so I won't be returning.

I had a store credit and for months I…

I had a store credit and for months I was trying to spend it. I just couldn’t find anything I liked, I had ordered and returned a couple of items including a dress that was damaged when I received it and so the store credit just went back and forth. I bought another dress just trying to spend the credit but when I tired it on it didn’t fit me. I returned the dress, as I had done before however, this time, I was told that because it was a sale item they would not accept the return. So after all this time trying to get rid of this credit (that I didn’t want in the first place) they’ve told me that I have to pay the shipping to have the dress (that doesn’t fit) returned to me because I had already sent it back to them and that the return would not be accepted. Best waste of $75.00 ever! You’d think that this company could make an exception in this case considering they DO accept wrong sizing returns on full priced items, the dress was in perfect condition and STILL in stock online for the same price, and the fact that I had gone back and forth for so long trying to get rid of this credit, but no. Think very carefully if you shop with this company especially if it’s a sale item, because they are very unforgiving when it comes to matters such as this. I should also mention, that I didn’t realise the dress was a sale item, and I ordered the size that I normally order however the ACCC seems this a change of mind return because they have a sizing chart on their site... just very disappointed that I’ve lost my money I guess :(

The worst online shopping experience…

The worst online shopping experience I’ve had. Coming on two weeks and supposed to be express post. Ordered items for my birthday lucky I paid with PayPal so I can dispute !!
Do not buy from here shop dolly girl or princess polly or show Po.
Claimed PayPal didn’t release funds even though I paid direct ??
Useless company do not waste ur time or money

The customer service is appalling here…

The customer service is appalling here and quality of clothing is very low. As an online business, they are not provinding a decent quality product and having to pay for shipping for returns and exchanges everytime adds up. They also sent me a ripped dress and wanted me to pay for postage a third time to return it. I already paid $18 in postage for a $75 dress and they wanted me to pay more to return or exchange it. It’s just appalling! They behave as though they don’t care about their customers and hence their business. I’m very disappointed with Stelly. I gave them a chance to rectify through various emails and photos but no luck. :(

Stay away from this store

Last year I ordered two dresses of the same kind, they were $100 each and looked amazingly on the photos. When I got the dresses however it turned out they were the cheapest material imaginable. What looked like pearls in the photos was cheap glitter glued onto them. The moment I unpacked the dresses my floor was covered in glitter particles. The quality of the stitches and fabric was shocking too for a dress that expensive. When I wanted to return it, I experienced what every other person mentioned here. I was told I'd only get a store credit and I would have to pay the postage myself. After I threatened to make a giant fuss on social media and forward the complaint to the ACCC they finally agreed to give me a refund on my credit card. It still took me two more reminders to actually receive the refund. I am pretty sure the whole company model is designed to rip people off - the photos on their websites are blurry, the refund policies illegal and not clearly explained and the clothes not worth their price, but more the kind of stuff you'd find in a cheap back alley store. Someone should take these people to court.

Do not order off this site! Especially if you’re intending on wearing your items anytime soon. I’m currently waiting on my 3rd shipment of the same order due to incorrect items being sent. On both occasions when I made contact about their error I received computer generated responses. I have had to pay for shipping to return the incorrect items twice now. Now to wait and see if the third shipment is correct.

Malpractice

A month ago, on the 24th of September I placed an order with Stelly for a long Black Dress. The Dress was of poor quality with pieces of threads sticking out of it everywhere. I decided to return the item to get a refund. I rang Stelly, they refused a refund. I therefore started a claim with Paypal and with NSW Fair Trading. The item was returned on the 05/10/2017 and acknowledge by Stelly on the 09/10/2017. They agreed to a refund on that date. However, to this date, the 25/10/2017, I still have not received my refund. They have the item back and I still have no refund. Stelly told Fair Trading they did proceeded to a refund which is not true and they are saying to Paypal I have not sent the item back, which is not true either. Fortunately I have kept all correspondence and tracking number which prove that I have sent the item back. Stelly also told me that Paypal is refusing refund because I need to cancel the claim, all of this is false. Those are not Paypal's procedures. I know Stelly is avoiding to pay my refund and stop the claim so it would not show in their records. I will not.
Stelly have a range of clothes that could look attractive but of poor quality, especially for the prices they sell them for, moreover, Stelly has a poor refund policy and is known for malpractice. Keep away from Stelly, do not buy from Stelly. Stay away from Stelly.

EDIT: After ringing Paypal, I was able to get a refund on my dress. They advised me that in the future if you have a seller refusing to refund, to lodge a claim with Paypal and escalate it straight away. In addition, ONLY when Paypal is asking should you send the item back keeping a proof of the tracking number with address of seller for having the postage paid as well. Keep all documentation and take picture of the parcel sent with tacking number and address visible.

DHL pricing..

As another review on here said I'm also from England. Now I'm happy to pay around £22 for it to be shipped here. However I was not expecting to pay an extra £15 to dhl on top of that just to get it into the country.
This means I paid £37 just for delivery for ONE top.
Never have I ever had to pay this sort of price just for delivery especially just for one item of clothing.
Be aware if you buy from here that you'll end up having to pay more on top of shipping if you are buying internationally.

Great clothes but with some issues

I really like all of the clothes I bought from Stelly. However I live in England and had them shipped with a delivery charge of about £22.00. Which to be honest is fine, it is completely what I was expecting.
HOWEVER, I then got a bill from DHL asking me for a further £60.00 for delivery which I was not expecting, I was not informed that I was to pay further for delivery. This meant that I was paying £80.00 delivery for clothes that amounted to £140.00 approx. More than half!
Not only that, as I had some doubts about paying this amount they then sent a very quick follow up chase letter from a debt collection agency threatening me with court! I find this really unreasonable, and although everything is now settled and paid for, I just cannot believe I paid £80.00 on delivery!!

Great products and customer service.

I have ordered from Stelly multiple times, and have always been happy with the items I have received.

Unfortunately, in my latest order, the playsuit I bought arrived with a broken zip. I emailed Stelly enquiring about a refund and received a response asking me to send a photo of the damage so that they could determine if it was cause for refund, as they only give store credits for items bought on sale or with a discount code.

I sent a couple of photos in response and was told to send the item back to receive a full refund, and if I wished that I could also include my postage receipt to received a store credit for the amount.

I sent the item back, and within 2 or 3 days of Stelly receiving it, I was refunded the entire amount I paid for the playsuit and the return postage.
Their customer service was very prompt and helpful.
