After using Stelo for just one month, I’m left disappointed and lighter in the wallet. The sensors stopped reading halfway through the day unless I taped them in place, which wasn’t included. The app... See more

Don't buy it …
the first biosensor worked as advertised. After 15 days it was depleted. I waited five weeks before using the second sensor which was a disaster. I followed the same process... injected the sensor in my arm then attempted the pair the sensor with the app. It would not pair. I deleted the app and rebooted my android phone then reinstalled the app. Still would not pair. I put phone in airplane mode, closed app, then removed from airplane mode. I spoke to Stelo support twice, and they could not help. They had me fill out two similar forms about the failure of their sensor. In going back and reading their fine print about replacement, they say there is NO WARRANTY, no replacement and no returns in their sensors. Don't buy their product. It was very painful to remove a newly installed sensor when it was clear it was not going to work. The sensor pulled apart when I finally got it off my arm. I also could not find the needle after removing it from my arm. I will not be installing another even if they send a replacement as the sensor needs to be injected into arm before one knows if it will "pair" to app on phone. I tried many more times to "pair" before removing sensor from my arm without success. A company that causes harm then does not stand behind their product is not worth doing business with. At the very least they should allow "pairing" before injection. Also, they have no email address or message area within the customer account created in their website. They force you to start with their very stupid SteloBot , then ask for a human to chat with only during regular business hours.
I understand why the negative reviews...
Had been getting CGM's directly from Stelo and using the Stelo app for about 6 months, but their app is rudimentary and doesn't track macros. Decided to switch to Levels 3 months ago. They also use the Dexcom Stelo CGM. For some reason my CGM will not pair using the instructions on the Levels app, and I have to use the Stelo app. So now I have to have the Levels app, the Dexcom app, AND the Stelo app just to use a CGM. And in these 3 months I've had 2 devices fail to deploy the sensor, and 1 sensor fail a week early. So far I've had the CGM's replaced quickly, but I'm not terribly impressed for $107 per month
These sensors are unreliable!
These sensors are unreliable. They show much higher readings at the beginning and lower at the end of their lifetime. Also they often fail. Don't buy!
The monitors did not work
The monitors did not work. There was no human to talk to or fix the problem. Not even sure how to return and get $100 back. Bought thru Oura ring and they passed the buck.
Very bad product
Very bad product
Used 3 sensors and realized they show higher results than my regular bgm with the finger stick. Started to compare results and all 3 sensors showed an average 30 points higher!!
Totally unacceptable
And Stelo has no way to calibrate as the regular Dexcom has. With Decom you can calibrate based on your regular bgm readings
Then , I got Abbott’s Lingo and it was right on the same readings as the bgm
I would not spend any more money on Stelo
Big disappointment
Don't buy Stelo monitor
Don't spend your money on this product. Expensive and you can get nothing
One monitor was grossly inaccurate and the second simply didn't work. Attempts to contact Customer Service result in nothing.
Again, big waste of money.
Questionable Accuracy
I have used Stelo for 6 weeks. It would be accurate for a couple days than spike 30 to 50 points over what my free style libre and my glucose monitor read.
I was sent a faulty monitor
I was sent a faulty monitor, and I was sent a return label. I returned the faulty monitor and was told they wouldn't replace it. Their customer service is horrible. There is no way to talk to anyone. Highly disappointed! I would have given no stars, but I didn't have that option.
Can we all pursue a legal action
Can we all pursue a legal action. Absolutely a terrrible & shitty company selling a piece of junk, defect products and they are just trying to draw your money out of it with a fraud and false advertisement. Their customer service is horrible
I’ve been using the Signos continuous…
I’ve been using the Signos continuous glucose app and absolutely loved it when they initially provided the G7 sensor. It was accurate and gave me great insights. However, they recently switched to the Stelo sensor, and unfortunately, it’s not as accurate or helpful for me. This change has been really disappointing. I hope they reconsider and bring back the G7 or improve the Stelo. Overall, it’s a great concept, but the recent sensor change has affected my experience significantly. Stelo is such a waist of money!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. hit a nerve and just wanted a replacement since I had to remove after 1 hour, telling them I wasn't upset just wanted a replacement to put in a different location- got mixed answers and eventual 'case closed' without resolution. and I'm a PHYSICIAN who was trying it to see if I would recommend for pts. very poor customer service, all be warned.
Constantly+50 high. Not accurate!!
I would not recommend this product!! It has been constantly +50 points different. I can't trust this product. They did replace one sensor but it performs the same way. I am going with a different product. The only reason I tried this one was because I was having trouble getting a prescription for another one. Don't waste your time and money. Get a prescription and use something different!!!!
If you're considering using guest…
If you're considering using guest checkout, think again. My package arrived with sensors that wouldn’t calibrate, and since I wasn’t logged in, they refused to help or refund me. There was no accountability and no way to escalate the issue. It felt like they were just hiding behind “policy” walls.
I am a medical provider who bought 2…
I am a medical provider who bought 2 cases of Stelo for clients in a support program that I offer. At first things were going okay, and I had an inside support person who sent a CGM or two when pairing issues became apparent. He realized that this is not a good product and left the company.
When they work the way they are supposed to the patterns and information is so helpful....but when they don't, there is no customer service, no email address, no phone number. The Dexcom phone numbers don't answer questions about the Stelo CGM, so, in effect, there is not support.
It is tempting to encourage people to gain this helpful information, but it is not helpful to have this level of frustration and in reality, a one star is probably too high for this CGM
The bio sensor doesn’t work and the company did nothing!
The bio sensor doesn’t work!! When I called customer service they were EXTREMELY unhelpful. I filled out a form and they did nothing!!
I just wasted 100$ on a product that worked for 24 hours and the customer service is so bad that they wouldn’t even help me.
I have been wearing glucose monitors for months and this was the first time trying Stelo… never again
Don’t waste your money!!!
Three different sensors malfunctioned…
Three different sensors malfunctioned as demonstrated by detailed calls and chats to CS that included comparisons to Blood Glucose readings. Readings were often and continuously off by over 100! They replaced two, but refused to replace the third and would not give me a reason why. They refused to offer advanced technical support after all reasons on the website were eliminated. I pointed out the issue is either with the device so they should replace it, or if it is user error then they should offer tech support. They refused to do either. Their support is by live chat or phone. English is not their first language and they just repeat what is on the website. I repeatedly requested higher level tech support and it never happened.
Terrible Customer Service
Even if you cancel in the right amount of time, they still send you one last shipment and charge you. Buyer beware - their customer service stinks! And they just want their money
Misleading subscription process
ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH - RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I placed what I thought to be a one-time order for Dexcom glucose sensors in July 2025 and received the product. Now, I just received another shipment for another 90 day supply. I do not need them and do not want them. I have not opened them. There is no phone number available to speak to a live person so I initiated a chat with their "bot" and was told I had an active subscription. And I was told I cannot return the products. This is ludicrous! I did not realize I had a subscription. I did not receive any recent email saying my order was set to ship. This is highly misleading and exploitative, especially for seniors who may not realize the implications of their online actions and are not even provided with a phone number to call. I simply want to return this unused product and have my account credited. I did not even open them. I am happy to pay for shipping, and they can be returned to the shelf and shipped to someone who needs them. The customer service for this company is substandard.
After using Stelo for just one month
After using Stelo for just one month, I’m left disappointed and lighter in the wallet. The sensors stopped reading halfway through the day unless I taped them in place, which wasn’t included. The app showed random glucose spikes that made no sense. But the real kicker? I was double charged for my subscription. When I reached out, they claimed it was my fault. I provided receipts, screenshots, everything. No apology, no refund. Just silence. The whole experience screams defective hardware and zero accountability from support.
Received defective sensors and tried…
Received defective sensors and tried initiating a return. Was told by the chatbot that “malfunctioning sensors are not refundable.” After three attempts to escalate, I gave up. It’s like throwing money into a void.
