A really well organised tour. A very knowledgeable expert accompanied us through, good local guides and good hotels made not all hassle-free. Bowled over by the antiquities we saw. Highly recommend this trip visiting the highlights of the Chinese Sikk Road.

Excellent organisation. Listened to our desires and advised us of what was possible. Planned everything for us. Lovely people to deal with and the personalised Steppes travel app. Was invaluable as it contained everything that we might have needed while away.

This was a well organised trip for the small amount of time available. I had the feeling of seing a lot of various sights in 4 days.

The advice we got on the plan for pur three week tour of Central Asia before we booked was great. The trip worked really well. Really professional and knowledgeable about the area with good connections to local guides and accommodation. They have a travel app which is great to use. Would definitely recommend.

Working with Sue Grimwood at Steppes travel to schedule our trip to the artic with basecamp explorer was an amazing experience. She listened to all of our requests and helped us schedule a trip of a lifetime!!

We had an excellent African Safari which was everything we had hoped for. Our travel specialist Chris listened to our requests and built our perfect vacation.

Excellent guides. Chris particularly went above and beyond to ensure we were able to to participate in lots of great experiences. Steppes gave us plenty of information beforehand and helped us prepare for travel.

Steppes, once again, truly listened to what we wanted from our safari and the need to make it a special and memorable experience for three generations of family travelling together. They take every need into consideration and try to match each request. We had the very best time!

The team at Steppes led by Illona with assistance from Deborah and others helped our family plan and execute a once-in-a-lifetime safari and beach adventure in Kenya. Illona and her colleagues were always quick to respond to our information requests and their knowledge of the area and "on the ground" tips and tricks was invaluable to us. We had a fabulous time and felt very reassured by the fact that Steppes was taking care of things in the background so we could focus on the day to day experience.

I've already given enough feedback but basically the reunion experience was not good mainly because of the hotel but also I don't think that island is used to tourists who don't speak French. The vendors you selected were not English forward. There were other contract companies for tourism that I noticed were more English forward and I'm wondering why you didn't select those.

The Mauritius experience was wonderful. Hotel and all of the amenities were great. However what happened in reunion has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I went to Steppes website looking for China tours. The website forces you to accept their cookies with no option to reject them and if you want to email them you have to give them even more information such as your telephone number. Steppes were excellent 30 years ago before they became clickbait warriors. I don't choose to give them my personal information so I will book my China trip through someone else.

Illona organised a fabulous trip for us to Botswana, Zimbabwe & Zambia. We started with mobile camping, then Vic falls and then a couple of fabulous lodges. We had some amazing sightings and met some lovely people along the way.
We have been using Steppes for over 20 years now and have already booked next years adventure with them.

The professionalism of the guides in our small group tour of Georgia and Armenia was exceptional. They were friendly and very well informed. The food was also outstanding. The hotels we stayed in were centrally located and of a high quality

From start to finish, I felt Steppes really cared about making our experience amazing. The team was incredibly responsive and I loved the fact that I had the same travel consultant throughout so they got to know me and what was important for us. Importantly, everything worked seamlessly. The hotel choices were great and the boat in the Galapagos perfect for us and all those things like national park fees and links to forms we needed to complete to get into the country all signposted. We had Bon voyage and welcome home calls and both felt heartfelt rather than tick box. We even had a packing list. Excellent job all round!

We went on a group tour but were able to book our own flights so did our own extension. Steppes are flexible, responsive and have a good understanding of their destinations
