I took my dress to Chester Stitches after a very poor alteration by a different seamstress company. The friendly guy did an excellent job fixing and redoing the whole alteration and completed the work for me very quickly. I would highly recommend this company.
Needed a shirt altered for Prom. The first time round, he did not measure correctly and it did not fit. This was, in spite of asking, whether we shoud get a bigger shirt and get it altered. When we went back to say this, asked where the offcuts were, which were not given to us. Charged another £30 to put in darts and shorten sleeves and repair the first alteration. So we spent a total of £60 in alterations alone and after all that, the shirt was unwearable.
