I had such a fantastic experience at St Margret Wines in Richmond that I felt compelled to share it. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly tell the team really cares about what they do.
The selection of wines is absolutely brilliant—thoughtfully curated with something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just looking for a nice bottle to enjoy. What really stood out to me was the staff’s knowledge and passion. They took the time to understand what I like and recommended a couple of bottles that were spot on.
I never felt rushed or pressured, just guided in a friendly and approachable way. It made the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional, which is rare these days.
If you’re in Richmond and appreciate good wine and great service, I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a real gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is an absolute gem! I moved to the area around 6 months ago and thought it was just a regular wine shop, however, Kosh and Kiran have created something really special. It's a place where one can hang out, theres seating indoors and out, great selection of high quality products and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable owners. They host events and tastings too, but it feels like you've gone for a drink at your best mate's place!
My first time here, I met so many lovely folks, its a real community hub and everybody is so welcoming. I feel so lucky to have this place as my local.

We bought a selection of wines, based on recommendations by staff. All were beautifully balanced.

It’s always a pleasure when purchasing wine and I appreciate the attentiveness and understanding of wine preference and expert pairing for food. Kosh is superb and love his energy for remembering repeat customers.

If you check their deliveroo menu, all the wine is tripled in price! This is terrible, taking advantage of people who can’t go out in these difficult times and charging them three times more. Example: T’air d’oc syrah is £9.95, this shop put £29.95 on their Deliveroo menu!!!! Decide for yourself

Answer to the shop’s comment: Deliveroo doesn’t mark up the prices three times for sure. None of the restaurants or shops are 3 times more expensive than normal in Uber eats or Deliveroo.

We have been receiving regular wine orders for over a year now.We are always pleased with the quality and we are very impressed with the knowledgeable staff.

Super knowledgable staff who always get wine and food pairings spot on. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, first class range of exceptional wines and spirits and delicious cheeses. We have a regular case of 12 wines and leave the selection to Montgomery.

On arrival I was asked if I needed any help, and so told the staff what I liked and they recommended several options. Walked away with a Riesling that was lovely! Very happy customer
