Extortionate deliver costs
Good service generally, received call to discuss and agreed delivery date although this was not confirmed at any time so communication could be improved. However, now feel frustrated over the deliver cost charged as it was extortionate, delivery costs indicated from £25/Pallet so having to pay nearly £400 for delivery and receiving only four pallets i feel this is a rip off and that maybe the discounted price on the stone has been covered in the delivery cost. Given the quantity of stone purchased, the cost for delivery was nearly 14% for four pallets which is very expensive and unacceptable.

We are sorry you have been disappointed with your delivery cost. I have looked at your order of which we delivered nearly 6 tons of stone from Surrey to Gloucestershire. Our courier's charge by the pallet & you had 6 of them which you were charged £285 + vat. If you were more local we would have delivered on our own lorry & would have been cheaper so unfortunately where you live has determined the price of delivery. We feel that this is a competitive price for this type of delivery.
I hope you have been happy with your Kandla Grey Pavers & again apologies for the delivery cost issue.

I ordered a sample and it was a good size to be able to see what the full size pavers are likely to look like. It arrived quickly and I appreciated that they used recyclable packaging.

Excellent service all round
I had been looking to extend my existing patio but had been struggling to find a way to buy the 7m2 of Indian sandstone which I required for the job. Most options on the internet forced me to buy a minimum of 15m2 which was simply too much in terms of materials and cost. That was until I discovered Stone Traders. They allowed me to purchase the paving I needed by the m2, and with a combination of sizes.
Not only were they friendly, and extremely accommodating to my delivery needs, they also went out of their way to help.
The paving arrived on time, and was a perfect match to my existing patio. Overall an excellent service and I would highly recommend.

Late delivery
Delivery was awful. Ordered at the weekend, paid £87 + £5 surcharge for delivery in 2 working days. Received phone call on Monday to say delivery would be on Wednesday. Received another call on Wednesday to say delivery was on Thursday. Nothing came on Thursday. Called them on Friday and he was adamant it was delivered on Wednesday but did promise to double check and update me. I didn't get any update but thankfully it was delivered later on on Friday. But this wasn't a 2 working day delivery as I paid for. Very disappointed.

Really disappointing experience paid for 24 hour shipping. Which ended up being delivered a week later ( only in part due to Easter hols). They’ve still not reimbursed me for the shipping costs

We are very sorry to hear that you have not been happy with your delivery. Orders need to be in before 12pm so we can prepare the order & send it out for delivery, however you made your order after 4pm on the day before Good Friday so we were not able to send your order out until the Tuesday after the Easter weekend. We rely on a third party delivery company for any orders that are not local so unfortunately once the goods leave us we put our faith in them to deliver our customers goods on time. 99% of the time this works really well & customers get their goods on time & are happy, however, if a certain depot is struggling with overload due to the Bank Holiday weekend, they do push deliveries back & unfortunately you were one of those customers. We can only apologise for your late delivery & would like to compensate you by refunding you your delivery cost which I will arrange immediately.
