Yes, I would like to echo what some of the other reviews have written. Poor customer service. I contacted the company and asked if they could deliver on a certain day as I wouldn't be there. They said no problem - put it in the notes online. Which I did. They did not deliver on the day I requested and delivered it earlier when I was not there. When I did arrived, I found that 17 of the slabs were broken - but of course I was not there to inspect the delivery (maybe that is why they delivered it when I was not there). Contacted them to tell them I was not there to inspect the order and that some of the slabs were broken and they said, "We can't replace the slabs - it is industry standard that some of the slabs will be delivered broken". What!!! So, you have to order online and calculate the square meters you need but then you don't have enough tiles to complete your project because some of them will be broken which is industry standard. Only in the UK lol.

Just to clarify, in the paving stone industry, online prices are usually much lower than those in physical stores. However, the delivery process is essentially the same — all goods are shipped from a remote warehouse directly to your home. Even if you buy from a local shop, they won’t have stock on site; they will also arrange delivery from their warehouse to your address.
Excellent service.
Communications were ex ellent, the paving arrived on time and was uploaded with no difficulty. There were no breakages and the paving looks good although yet to be laid.

Part pallet delivered fine, great slabs
Was a bit put off at first as I was told I have to accept that any damages to slabs in transit I couldn’t claim for as it was a part pallet. But after a conversation with Paving Direct I was put at ease. Constant updates and perfect slabs. And very well palletised!
Will be ordering more slabs in the new year for another little job. Wouldn’t do that if I didn’t have faith in them to deliver and quality of slabs.

Would Recommend
Ordered 2 x 18.9m2 Patio packs of Indian Sandstone. They arrived within 1 week and were well packed. The driver dropped them right at my garden gate with a pallet truck, super helpful.
Not a single broken slab. All in great condition.
Cost wise I had to pay the additional delivery surcharge but it was still £50 or so cheaper than alternatives.
Would recommend.

Very poor aftersales if you have a problem
All was great when ordering their project packs. Then we discovered 2 smashed large slabs and 4 small slabs short.
They don't want to know. "You have recieved the correct square meters and you should expect up to 7% breakages".
Beware !!!! Do not expect
the individual numbers of flags per pack so don't waste your time as we did in making a patio plan. Will never use again

As an online store operating on thin profit margins, the paving slabs industry typically adopts a 5% to 10% acceptable breakage allowance during transit. At our store, we have set this allowance at 7%. Therefore, we strongly advise customers to order at least 10% more than their calculated requirement. This is a standard industry practice among all paving stone suppliers. If you wish to verify this, you will find similar policies across other online paving stores.

We have bought several packs of Indian flagstones from Stone Paving Direct and been very pleased each time. The staff are helpful whether arranging delivery or collection and the stone is very good. Easy to lay and looks great.

This company has to be the worst builder supplier I have ever dealt with. Waiting almost two weeks for my order with no follow ups on delay. Tried calling the company and just getting voicemail to send email, can't speak to an actual person. Finally sent email regarding delay, only to be told my order was damaged hence the delay, email informing me of this would have been nice, guaranteed my delivery 15/4/25 and nothing.
