COMPLAINTS AGAINST STONEPILLOW CHICHESTER BRANCH AND MISCONDUCT BY CERTAIN TEAM MEMBERS

At stonepillow Chichester, I had been a very happy customer for some years, and then decided with my vast experience working for charities in the UK and in Norway I would become a volunteer at Stonepillow Chichester Branch. Most of the team are wonderful, helpful and friendly, but when I returned after much sadness the beginning of 2025 I was confronted with a different not so welcoming experience as a volunteer. The customers were very pleased with my friendliness and helpfullness, and most of the team. But whilst my supervisor away, the manager called me in the office every time i did voluntary work and in front of other team members, stating there was concerns about me butting in, working too fast and many more issues but never explained who had complained about my method of manner or working and would never give me the opportunity to give my side of the story. I decided because of the Managers Cohersive behaviour and negative attitude towards me at the Chichester Branch I would be better off leaving the company. I was also meant to be modelling for the fashion show, which I did successfully last year, got a lot of good feedback and comments. I also got excellent feedback of so you are ---- I have heard so many good things about you. and this was the Manager of the Manager that runs Chichester Stonepillow, so this was a very kind and generous compliment. There was other serious issues going on against me personally, I handed over a signed factual and true statement to the Head of Human resources and a co worker who gave me a lot of support, however I have not yet had feedback of all my comments. I had listed all the team that I found helpful, and kind towards me all but 5 team members 2 were senior members of the team and 3 others. Some of them are still volunteering at Stonepillow!! I had complained about the FASHION SHOW poster, as I have experience in marketing and computing field of work, The poster had a stunning tall elegent model This is a fun fashion show with all different shapes and sizes, gender and diversity However this poster does not represent this at all; It is so crowded with what is organised in print its too crowded, all that stands out is the exceptional beautiful model; Also the posters background colour green is not good for anyone who is colour blind. Additionally within the £22.50 ticket fee, is included a drink. Some people attending to support this charitable event may be recovering alcoholics! I advised the manager in charge of this event of my thoughts, only to get ridicouled about my suggestions. I had advised this person, that it would have been a good idea before publishing this poster to have handed to all team members involved other than marketing for advice on what their thoughts were before publishing. We did agree that I could still be in the show even though I mentioned it is not a beauty show it is a fun show to get funds for charity. After I left company, I did not turn up for rehearsals or intend to be in the show I also found out that Manager of Chichester branches Manager, Manager who had travelled from Portsmouth, happens to be a model in show she had advised me........!This Saturday I got a negative message from the Manager of the fashion show, Chichester and Bognor area stating: "MANAGEMENT HAVED DECIDED YOU MUST NOT BE IN FASHION SHOW" I advised this team member I had decided NOT TO BE IN THE FASHION SHOW as I personally do not agree with the image the poster portrays and NOT TO SEND ME ANOTHER NEGATIVE MESSAGE AGAIN or I will report her to HEAD OFFICE. I have suffered this year with a lot of personal sadness, which the Management were aware of and my volnurability and still treated me with DISRESPECT. I THOUGHT STONEPILLOW WAS MEANT TO SUPPORT PEOPLE IN NEED especially a team mmber with whose hadto face up to very upsetting issues, which I did not take to Stonepillow with me only in confidence as my contract with Stonepillow stated you haveto declare if you are unwell.

Fussy time wasters

Waited all afternoon for a collection of a sofa only to be told they didn't want it. Quite honestly don't think the blokes could be bothered to carry it out the room late Friday afternoon. Guy said it had cat scratches and wouldn't take it. I told the lady on the phone this but when she asked if it was torn I said no. In future just refuse it over the phone and don't waste people's time. I've seen worse for sale in local charity shops or I wouldn't have bothered calling to donate it in the first place.
