BOGUS

(Apparently telling the truth is frowned upon here so I had to edit my review).

Sent my Apple Watch to Stopoint, which took a week to get there (not advertised up front when shipping); they get the product and send me a message saying it's locked and still linked to my account. However, I unlinked the watch myself and verified via iCloud the device is NOT on my account anymore once they told me this. They told me I could unlink the account myself and I followed the stepson provided, which AGAIN showed NO signs of a watch anywhere on my iCloud account; they also provided a link to removing it, which was dead. The other offers were to "return" or "recycle" it. Again, I unlinked the device AND reset it to factory settings. AFTER they confirmed that they had sent my item back to me (hopefully undamaged), THEN they wanted to call and message me explaining that they could've helped me unlink it (although I still have NO PROOF it is linked to my iCloud) if I would have called them or sent an email. Is that option advertised anywhere on their website? NO. It's very cut and dry with the options provided. Nowhere does it say "if this doesn't work, we can help you do it."

You'd be better off selling your device to someone on the street.

Outstanding smooth process from start to finish!

Can't begin to to tell you how smooth and FAST this transaction went. They instantly sent me my shipping label and even emailed me to tell me they received it. And believe it or not...it was only 18 hours from when they received my ipad until they deposited the money into my paypal account. I am blown away..what a great company to deal with! I will never go thru the hassle of Craigslist and live in fear on who you might meet when dealing with them and how you will get paid. Can't say enough good things about this great company!!! Thanks again!

No Hassles and Great Support!

It worked out but I would not use them again.

In the end Stopoint resolved the sale of my iPhone to my satisfaction, but I would not do business with them again.

When I submitted my phone for sale the claimed that their testing showed I still owed money on the phone to AT&T and as such they could not unlock it (not true). I worked with them and AT&T for over a month but we could not resolve the issue. I told them to send the phone back.

The phone doesn't arrive so after a month I call them. I get the excuse of "So sorry but it is still on the testing bench, we forgot to send it." For various reasons I had them re-test the phone before sending it back. Same result, so I again requested the phone be returned to me.

Two weeks later I still don't have the phone so I call them again. Guess what the excuse is:
"So sorry but it is still on the testing bench, we forgot to send it."

I call BS on them and that I will not take that story any more, She apologizes and asks me to wait on the line while they look into it.

When she returns to the line I get the truth. They have lost my phone, POOF GONE, but will complete the sale at the price quoted.

To their credit I received the check and had no issues depositing it.

I do believe though that I was strung along for months with lies about "still owing money on the phone / cant unlock" while the phone was actually lost by them.

Your experience may vary, but I would not risk it again.

After some initial miscommunication they took care of me. The process is simple as long as you make sure to turn off find my iPhone. I would do business with them again.
