Ubisoft account hacked — support refuses to help unless I access hacker’s email
I discovered on August 2, 2025, that my Ubisoft account had been hacked and the email ID was changed without my knowledge. Despite providing proof of purchase through Steam, payment confirmation, and even showing that my Steam account had been hacked and recovered, Ubisoft still refuses to help.
Their support continues to send generic, automated replies stating they "couldn't verify ownership," even though I provided multiple forms of evidence. I can still play the games through Steam, but the account remains linked to the hacker’s email, and I have no access to change settings or unlink the account.
It's frustrating that a company like Ubisoft doesn't have proper escalation routes or real human verification for cases like these. Steam support handled my issue quickly and professionally — Ubisoft should take notes.
I just want my account back or at least have it deleted if it can't be recovered.
