Storefunnels Saga: The Chronicles of a Vanishing Funnel and Ghostly Support

I had used storefunnels for a short time in late 2022 but cancelled it to go in another direction. At the time I thought the system was pretty good, seemed simple enough, so I put that project on hold with the intention of coming back.

Come April 2023, they held a subscription promotion PLUS a prebuilt funnel for $49/mo which would lock you in at the discounted rate. Sounds too good to be true? Most likely, lol.

Immediately after I purchased the promo, I had NO access to the funnel. They give you a PDF welcome pamphlet and on one of the pages is a link that supposedly takes you to your "pre-built funnel"

Yeah, that link takes you to their login page and once logged in, it told me I didn't have sufficient privileges, my account was expired for some reason, and that I had to UPGRADE the account.

What? After I just purchased a brand new funnel + subscription they flipped the script on me.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and reached out to customer support several times. They responded at a snails pace and did offer some alternatives but those didn't work and eventually they stopped replying to my emails altogether. Suspicious..

Storefunnels could not give me access to the funnel I recently purchased and get my "expired" account squared away. This process has taken over 3 days and I STILL haven't received a response back to my recent emails, a resolution from them, OR confirmation to refund my money.

The chat that they ask you to use on their website is absolutely worthless. It seems like no one is actively responding to you when you are asking questions live. I only ever got a response when I was away from my desk and when I was able to reply back, it would give me the following generic response.

"We’re currently unavailable. We’ll get back to you when one of our operators is able to respond. Please provide your email address so we can get in touch with you."

I would give them my email and get nothing back. So get ready to play chicken with their customer support... super fun...

Tell me why it takes 3+ days to get something as simple as this fixed? Not to mention they completely ghosted me when I asked for a refund. They are wasting peoples time and money by delaying their responses.

After this experience, I honestly feel more comfortable choosing ClickFunnels now because they are more established. They also have a 4.6 rating on Trust Pilot with hundreds of reviews so there you go..

They might be more expensive than Storefunnels but you kind of get what you pay for..

I really have to say though that it's not a terribly crappy product, because the plug and play features to create your funnel are pretty good but man... the glitchy promotions and delayed customer service responses are a total bummer. It makes me wonder what else they promote that is actually glitchy on the system? How reliable is this system?

This product, Storefunnels.net, is run by the same guys who run Ecommerce Empire Builders (which is a great product btw) and I actually think the reason why this is so glitchy right now is because this is one of their new products. It's only 2 years old according to websiteseochecker.com, which means it's in its infancy stages. The site is going to be prone to more bugs.

I think storefunnels.net actually has some potential to become a great competitor someday in the funnel space but that is going to take some time and trial/error... usually, and unfortunately, at the customers expense : /

Maybe in a few years I would think about giving storefunnels another shot but right now, I don't have the time to be putting out fires like this.

If you are considering web funnels for your business, you might want to bare this in mind when choosing your web funnel product.
