From Mozart to Madonna, you want to experience music. You want to hear the most beautiful sounds imaginable through your loudspeakers. To be able to hear the instruments and voices as they actually sound, with all the detailed emotion. Sadness, happiness, excitement and love. Along with the acoustics of the space wherein they are situated. And without disturbing factors. Loudspeakers which show music in all its power and naturalness. This is largely the philosophy of Stradivari. Now we also develop and manufacture our own drivers, the speakers inside the cabinet. That is very complicated but also very rewarding when it is succesfull. Many years of research has brought us so close to this desire of our philosophy that we are extremely proud to put our name Stradivari on our speaker systems.

I recently bought a nearly new pair of their Stradivari Amorat floorstanding speakers. A beautiful looking speaker in gloss mahogany finish. This is a fairly high-end speaker that is still sold on their website and would set you back 13,000 Euro's.
There is surprisingly little information online about this company and the mystery deepens when trying to contact them because no matter how many emails I send, no one ever replies. I want to buy a new mid/bass driver and wanted to discuss the possibility of upgrading the tweeters.
I understand that Stradivari make their own mid/bass cones inhouse, and since I had an annoying buzz on the bottom speaker cone, I needed a replacement.
Bottom line is, I gave up trying to contact them and wonder if this company is still solvent. As a side note, I managed to repair the speaker cone, which had a loose wire to the voice coil. When checking on the tweeter upgrade, I see that they've installed a cheap VIFA DX25TG09-04 tweeter, honestly, this is a cheap 25 euro tweeter, which is quite shocking, given this is a thirteen thousand Euro pair of speakers. These have now been upgraded to Scanspeak illuminators, which cost 20 times more than what Stradivari used.
