I’m sharing this so future customers know what to expect. I had an order that was never delivered, and when I contacted customer service, instead of helping, I was questioned about why I didn’t follow up sooner — as if I needed to justify my personal circumstances. The tone was dismissive, judgmental, and even included an unnecessary comment about my email being “AI written.”

A missing order should be handled with support and professionalism, not interrogation. This experience was disappointing enough that I no longer want the item, nor refund and I hope the company improves how they communicate with customers in similar situations.

Had to buy a saree for a wedding in jaipur, India. I searched online and contacted some websites that looked credible and that seemed like they should be able to help. Strand of silk got back to me the fastest and suggested organising a call with a specialist - I agreed and within 1 day, I spoke to someone who told me all about the weather in jaipur at that time of the year and also suggested some saree options that would look great but also not break the bank!

I spoke to an advisor in their team, who told me about the different occasions and the type of clothes that might be appropriate. It was a relaxed conversation and I certainly didn't feel like I was being sold to - a very comforting factor.

Eventually I bought some clothes from them and some from a store in India, but I have to admit that the advice I received was spot on and I loved each of the clothes that I bought from their website - in total 4 Kurta sets
