I have found the information from Strategic Parenting to be helpful and informative. We are parents of ADHD children and have been struggling with understanding and managing our kids in that aspect. After the first day of the week of the masterclasses, I shared the link with as many persons I know who had young children. Functional and accessible strategies for building trust within a loving family. No yelling is the way forward, not just for small families, but for the global family. If only these principals could be taught to every human on planet earth, perhaps we wouldn’t be spending so much of our time on things that separate us, but on what brings us all together.

The daily emails in the 28-day-no-yelling challenge offered a wide variety of strategies to improve the relationship to our children. Many ideas made us think about what we already do and what we can change. It was a valuable resource to improve our parenting and brought us closer together as a parenting team and as a family. I stopped yelling on Day 1 and only once had a relapse.

The author of the book is extremely knowledgeable! He made me realize how much I was doing wrong when communicating with my son. I now see someone with ADHD in a completely different light, and now when dealing with my son I feel like I am on his side helping him learn control, instead of me always trying to be the one in control. I have already passed on this author to some other moms struggling with kids with ADHD.

The 28 Day Challenge was easy to learn and put into practice. Parents are busy working adults as well, so efficiency and effectiveness is key. I could read each challenge on the commute to work, at home before going to bed, and even read them over and over again to be better informed and equipped. What's most satisfying is have a more positive relationship with my child.

At first, I thought this challenge was just click-bait, and I ignored it. Then, I got desperate. Click-bait or not, I needed something to change. My family had gotten to where no one would listen to me. I felt invisible. If I wanted the kids' attention, sometimes I'd have to clap loudly just to get them to hear me. Now, I haven't raised my voice in a week. When I speak, they hear me. The power struggles have gone way down, the yelling is so seldom that when we hear it, we are startled by it. I can tell my kids feel more valued, and I feel so much happier. I hadn't realized how serious I had gotten when everything was a fight or flight. I am truly grateful.

I didn't have time to review the manuals and listen to all the summit speakers. However, the experts to whom I listened were great. I got a lot of insights from those masterclasses in the field of internet addiction, discipline and connection. They are all great speakers with immense expertise in the field. I have also started applying some of the tips in my real life. I can't wait to listen to all of them.
One-page summaries of each masterclass is also helpful tool.
