I am so glad that I hired the Stride On scooter when I had surgery on my ankle, the hospital let me try the knee scooter and I could see how easy was to move instead of using crutches. Safe, easy to manoeuvre inside narrow spaces, all I can say is positive. It has made such a difference to these four weeks of not been able to put weight on my ankle. I do highly recommend that you try it, and then see what a big help it is. Moving with crutches is difficult, tiring and risky, at least that was my experience.

I rarely give 5 stars but quite honestly the Stride On made all the difference to not only my everyday life but also to my mental health. I broke my foot in a car accident for which I needed an operation and along with severe bruising of my sternum I was unable to use crutches for the 7 weeks of non weight bearing. I am normally a very active outdoors person so I had the Orthomate Stride On for downstairs and outside and another Stride On for upstairs. The staff at Stride on were so helpful, I literally booked the first one from my hospital bed after my operation and it arrived the next working day. I have extended my rental a couple of times as I still have differculty getting around and this has never been no problem. I have recommended the Stride On to so many people. GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT COMPANY.

Such a pleasant experience dealing with Strideon. Absolutely nothing was a problem with the company. The strideon scooter itself was a boon and I really miss it now that I had to send it back. I changed my return dates several times but it was not an ounce of difficulty when speaking up to them. Everything with placing the order to delivery, assembling instructions & returns was unflawed with Strideon. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.
I did have a minor issue with the UPS collection. I was given a time between 9:00-17:00 for collection on the day, so I waited the WHOLE day- they came at 16:46 despite my asking UPS to give me at least 4 hour collection window& then I had 2 phone calls that evening to check if the collection had been made from the UPS driver’s supervisor.

Absolutely recommend this business! 5 🌟 I had a massive foot operation in April but needed to return to work in July but couldn’t walk unaided. I’m a manager at Next and need to get to each department quickly, the knee scooter was a god send! Very prompt, communication and delivery excellent packaging and so easy to put together, it even had a basket. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you.

I don't normally do reviews but had to with this product! I was recommended to the Stride On knee scooter by a hospital Physiotherapist after having ankle fusion on my left leg. I was going to be non weight bearing for over twelve weeks both in a cast and boot.
I felt it was a little unnecessary to be honest but after two days at home struggling to hop with either a zimmer frame or crutches ,at my 73 yrs of age, I decided enough was enough and ordered the scooter. It came the next day and was easy to erect. Then my life changed , the hopping problem was sorted and the scooter was brilliant. It's sturdy, smooth running and so easy to use. It gave me the ability to get to the toilet far easier, cook and make drinks as you can let go and use two hands with the safety of knowing your knee is supported to give you balance. Getting around the house was good too as the scooter has a small basket on the front to carry things in. It not only helped me physically but mentally too as I was able to do far more than with the crutches. I rented the scooter for 4weeks but happily decided to extend it when I found out how brilliant it was to use. I've now returned the scooter as I can weight bear again but it has been a massive part of my recovery . This is the third operation I've had on my ankle but the first time I've used the Stride On knee scooter . There may be other makes on the market but I certainly wouldn't look to use any of them as the Stride On , in my eyes, is unbeatable !
If there was any tip I could give it would be to get one of their Premium knee pad (which gives extra comfort) to use as my boot seemed to press against my leg with just the normal cushioned seat that's on the scooter so I used some foam I had in to act as extra cushioning.
The whole process from ordering, to extending the rental period and ultimate return of the scooter was incredibly easy and just done by a quick phone call which was always answered in a very pleasant , helpful way by Helen. Thank you to all at Stride On for both the exceptional customer service and for helping me to recover faster this time round!

I had surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles in May and had to be non weight bearing for almost 10 weeks. Honestly don't know how I would have got through it without the StrideOn! Great product but the service from the StrideOn office has been great too. Super prompt and helpful.

This Stride on scooter is first class, I underwent a ankle fusion surgery, and wondered how I would get around for 8 weeks none weight bearing, and was given a leaflet about knee scooters, and the hospital phisio recommended the Stride on ,so I looked them up, the service from them was very helpful and professional, I have to say this scooter was a easy way to get around, at home and too and from Hospital for my appointments so easy to use, and much better than crutches and a whole lot safer, many thanks to all the staff at Stride on can't thank you enough best wishes from Mr William Lowes ps the hire date was from 28th May to 25th July.

The StrideOn enabled me to manage at home alone 10 days after surgery. It was straightforward to turn corners and enter and turn in narrow spaces. Device was stable and I felt safe on it. Customer service was first class. A human answered the phone quickly every time! Helpful, friendly and efficient. Delivery and collection was smooth and fast.

Game changer, would thoroughly recommend if you have temporary limited mobility. So good for your positivity being able to get around with a lot less effort and less pain. Little basket on the front also means you can carry a few bits which you can’t with crutches. Clear instructions from company and quick response to communications.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish.
Firstly, I rang just after 4pm to enquire about a strideon scooter for my upcoming ankle operation. I spoke to a lovely lady who was very knowledgeable and asked questions as to what my requirements would be and how they could meet them.
I received my scooter at 10.30am the next day to a lovely gentleman from UPS. There was a sticker on the box saying ' disabled person so please give time for them to get to the door.'
My daughter assembled it for me no problem. I managed a fair few practice runs on the sturdy scooter within my home. It was easy to steer and the little basket was a very useful thought.
Unfortunately for me, my operation was cancelled right at the last minute and is now rescheduled for September, so I've sent it back. It was no hassle to do this, a quick call and pick up was at what was best for me. Again a lovely very polite guy from UPS called to take it away.
In this day and age it's lovely to actually make a call and a person answers straight away who is not only knowledgeable but friendly and empathetic.
I've recommended this company to the Occupational Therapists in my hospital who will be getting in touch with Strideon for more information.

Made the recovery period so much easier. Had flat foot reconstructive surgery and was in a cast and non weight bearing for 6 weeks. God send. Great turning circle and was able to use in the smallest of spaces. Ordering, receiving and returning the scooter was all very easy. Highly recommend this product and company.

Dear Helen and everyone at Stride On,
Thank you very much for all of your help, advice and support throughout my post operative period. During the 6 weeks of instructed non weight bearing, I would not have managed without the Stride On. No way could I have hopped to and from the toilet for that length of time!!!
Thank you very much for extending my rental agreement. The whole process has been completely easy and without any hitches.
I highly recommend Stride On.

I had flat foot reconstruction surgery May 2021, I purchased a scooter and sold it thinking I wouldn’t need it again. How wrong was I, had same surgery but different ankle 7 weeks ago and was non-weightbearing for 5 weeks post-op. The scooter was a life saver and I’ve barely had to use the crutches. I extended the rental period, this was done via email and was sorted within couple of minutes. The scooter is due to be returned tomorrow and is all packed and labelled. Best invention ever and I cannot fault StrideOn as a company.

The customer service for the knee scooter was excellent from the first telephone call. And comprehensive instructions were included in the package.
I hired the knee scooter on behalf of my friend who had fractured her ankle and was non weight bearing for six weeks.
The difference it made to her mobility was wonderful.
From hopping with a zimmer, a slow and painful process for a 70+ lady, she quickly learned how to manoeuvre around her apartment without pain or too much effort.
She said “It was a Godsend. I don’t know if I could have managed without it”.
Delivery on March 26th and collection on April 23rd went very smoothly and extending the monthly rental was easy.
Can’t recommend the knee scooter and StrideOn enough.
