The communication wasn't very good

The communication wasn't very good. I had to keep chasing the next stage of the process. Mistakes were made (or system errors) during the verification process and they weren't noticed until I contacted the customer service to ask what was happening and why we hadn't progressed. Then things would move along. This seemed to happen again while I was waiting for the contract to sign. Everything had to be chased via email and responses were not quick. It seems like it should have all been automated based on the app used for ID verification. Clearly this didn't work correctly in my case and I fell through the cracks.
I'm all set up now and happy with the terms but getting it set up was far from painless

I sent several emails because I didn't…

I sent several emails because I didn't know how the process was and what were the next steps and didn't got a satisfactory answer, when I was ansred at all.
It was a very stressful experience considering money is a sensitive subject.

Great experince !!!

It was possible to complete the process from a phone, and it was in fact really quick and easy. They responded really quickly and made decisions right away.

Numerous system errors on your part…

Numerous system errors on your part making the enrolment process months to complete. Stressful and frustrating throughout the process. Have had to delay starting the program by 2 weeks because of this, even though I originally planned on finishing the admin in August.

What they do for students is great but they are awful at communication

What they do for students is great, but they are awful with replies. I have passed their checks and signed the contract but emails I sent over a week ago have not been responded to... for such an business/organisation you would expect quick communication.

The process was indeed extremely simple and quick, could even be done from your phone. The team were very responsive and quick to give a decision.

Having been of of the lucky guys who've received funding from Studentfinance I must say how entire process was smooth and professional. Application process was very straightforward and easy to complete. Most importantly I have received the answer within promised time frame.
