Incompetent and fraudulent - avoid Studieshop.be at all costs

Avoid Studieshop.be at all costs. For years, we have been stuck with this incompetent service for our kids' school books. Once, they 'delivered' the books by leaving them outside in the rain for a week during school holidays. Another time, they sent half the books too late - after the school year had started. Plus, some books were missing. And this year, they took almost 5 months (!) to send laboratory coats (2 months after school had started). Not just that - the coats had to be ordered through Studieshop because they would have a school logo. But the coats they sent didn't have any logo whatsoever. So we returned them back - the same day. PostNL couldn't deliver the package back to Studieshop because nobody was there to accept it, and now they tell us we sent things back outside of the 14-day return window, so they won't pay us back. And this after 5 months of holding our money, delivering the wrong product, and refusing to accept the returned package on time.
I can only describe Studieshop.be as a criminal organization that would long be out of business if the school system didn't force everyone to use them. I really hope someone investigates them.
TIP - Instead of using studieshop, order all the school books with Standaard Boekhandel - in any shop. It's cheaper, faster, and you can pay and pick them up in the shop without having to wait half a year or worry that they will be left in the rain when they finally decide to send them.

Extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the service. It’s been almost a month since I placed my order, and I still haven’t received the books. There is no clear communication or tracking — you are left completely in the dark until the very last moment.
Last year, the books finally came — but they arrived wet and damaged. My daughter has been waiting the entire month of September without the books she needs for school.
Customer service is unhelpful and frustrating. They are unable to provide any real information about the order and seem completely disconnected from the delivery process.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The service is absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, due to the lack of competition, they seem to have no motivation to improve.

Room for improvement

I have ordered on 2nd of July 2024, delivery was in August, but a book was missing. Fortunately the missing book was received in the first week of September.

We didn't receive 2 books

We didn't receive 2 books, but the company informed us from the beginning and until now, about the status of the books. I suppose that Studyshop is not printing shop, means is not your fault. I like to see always the positive side of the story. I hope that we will soon have our books. :) Luiza

I would give less than 1 star if it…

I would give less than 1 star if it would be possible.

The school chose this company to order school supplies and we encountered the worse service ever seen. My orders as well as many other families came very late. On the second month of the school, there were still items had not arrived. I also encountered an extra coat due to a change in my original list. They posted it with email in october, which probably landed in my junk folder. They claimed to send a reminder and than an additional invoice issuing 17 euros fine for unpaid 5 euros! Never received it in my mailbox! And when i tell what happened, they just said you have to pay! This is ridiculous, this is a bad intention. Better stay away from this store!
