This review is long overdue, I’ve had a baby and time becomes a blur, but I really wanted to write this because this product provided by Studio Bust is about me and my baby and I wanted to say thank you because the bust is beautiful, captured all the details of me carrying my baby and seeing it for the first time was emotional for positive reasons. If you are ever thinking of making your body into art form, go to Studio Bust, their pieces are beautiful.

I’ve always commemorated my pregnancies: A tree planted in honour of our first baby, Poppy, who sadly we didn’t get to bring home, our second, Maya in a photoshoot; frames hung proudly in our home, so was looking for a new way to celebrate our third, Seren. When I discovered Studio Bust I knew immediately that this would be beautiful way to immortalise what might be our final pregnancy.
From initial email Studio Bust provided unparalleled attentiveness and care. I felt safe and held during the appointment itself; confident enough to confront my body hang-ups and just celebrate the magic happening inside me. As others have described; a liberating, powerful and profound experience. Mads took time to get to know me and hear my story - which also felt like a gift.
The bust arrived about a month postpartum which was a joyful lift amongst a mountain of nappies, leaky boobs and hormones flying around.
Still today I honestly can’t stop looking at it. Alongside more material, mass produced items in our home this is such a welcome, truly personal addition.
It’s a gift for me in the past and present: Pregnancy is a time vacuum - in some ways you’re anticipating the birth so much it can feel like it drags along but out the other side you feel like you blinked and missed it. The bust brings back all the best memories - flutters, hiccups, kicks, pure excitement dreaming up who this little human might be. And a gift for the future me: can picture myself at 60 holding it thinking “gosh why did I ever worry about my body, I was bloody beautiful!”
Every day the bust brings me immense pride, what my body achieved (and is still achieving!) growing this tiny perfect person. Thank you Studio Bust team for making it happen.

The whole experience was wonderful! Mads made me feel very comfortable when she scanned my body and talked through the various poses in a relaxed way. All of the available finishes and styles were thoroughly discussed and this was done in a gentle way without pressure. We both love the finished bust and have put it in prime place in our home.

I’m in love with my studio bust! The quality is incredible and it’s priceless to have a snapshot of my pregnancy with my little one now here in the world. I was a little nervous about the scan but Mads was so professional and made me feel so comfortable that I all but forgot that she was scanning me with no clothes on. I will definitely be getting another with future pregnancies

I just received my bust and could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. I was scanned just two days before I went into labor with my second and final baby. This bust is such a beautiful way to commemorate my motherhood journey.

I was scanned at 35 weeks pregnant by the lovely Tara and it was a lovely experience. I wasn't feeling uncomfortable and she was so nice to me! I've received my bust exactly 3 months later and it's even better than I hoped for! It's really heavy, good quality and I find myself beautiful in it which I don't in real life. It's very very expensive and I wish more women could afford it as it's definitely a keepsake forever and to be transmitted. Love mine so much!
Oh and both the teams on instagram and Mads/Amelia on emails are really nice and helpful!

Creating a bust with Studio Bust to commemorate my pregnancy was such a special process. I was put completely at ease during the scan and loved trying out different poses – it was really empowering to think of my body at 8 months pregnant as a work of art. And the resulting bust is beautiful – it is one of my most treasured possessions!

The whole process from booking my appointment to receiving my bust was seamless and very fun! I cannot think of a better way to capture this brief moment in my life. Naturally, I was a bit awkward and shy as I entered my appointment but the jitters quickly faded as I was educated on the whole process and expertly guided on poses and such. Selecting the material was the most difficult, and having physical examples to hold and see in person were very helpful. I left my appointment feeling oddly empowered?! Then it was the waiting game. Honestly, it was a few months (I live in the US) and I nearly forgot about it until I received an email saying it was done and ready to ship. I was excited all over again and when it arrived I couldn’t believe it was me. I stood there at my door, carrying my 2 month old baby and a bust of what my body looked like shortly before his arrival and it was such a wonderful sensation. If I plan on having more children I would love to do this again!

I absolutely love my bust and had such an empowering experience. I’m a little shy about nudity but never wanted a pregnancy photoshoot. I fell in love with studio bust before I fell pregnant and knew I would do it when I was. I booked my appointment at 12 weeks for week 32, and spoke to Mads about my apprehension to be fully nude. She recommended a loose seamless thong which really helped me feel more comfortable but actually if I didn’t have that on I think I’d have still been more than comfortable. The process was super quick but really good fun and it was amazing testing different poses and seeing how they would look. My bust has just arrived, 2 weeks after my baby girl and I love it. Thank you so much.

I couldn’t recommend Studio Bust more. The process from start to finish was so seamless and I couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable. Such a special experience that I would absolutely do again.

Incredibly special experience from start to finish. So welcoming and reassuring when you're having the imagine taken, helpful when choosing the finish and responsive and prompt with updates about delivery. Cannot fault this experience! A fantastic small business who truly celebrates womens body's in all their forms and at all stages! Something I will treasure forever.

From start to finish it’s been such an amazing experience with Studio Bust.
I first reached out to double check it would be female only as it’s the only way I’d feel comfortable in such a vulnerable situation and Mads was so quick to respond with answers to any questions I had at all and calmed all nerves.
The actual scanning experience was great, I was at the London studio which is a gorgeous homely setting. I can’t recall the name of the woman who scanned me but honestly I have never felt more at easy with my clothes off before. It’s hard to describe but I just felt so unjudged and comfortable. She used her expertise to help guide the positions to try out as I had no clue what to do.
I’ve just received my final bust in the post today and I absolutely love it. The packaging is in keeping with the quality of the final product, just amazing having a version of you captured in such a classy and timeless way.

I loved my entire experience at Studio Bust. It's the most gorgeous momento to commemorate a pregnancy. So special!

Had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The scanning experience was so thoughtful, quick and easy. Tara helped with me through how to pose and I was able to see a graphic of each scan so I could select which I liked best. Once my bust was ready there was excellent customer service and communication provided by Amelia on the status of my package and helping me make sure it was delivered safely. I wasn't prepared for how many positive emotions this would raise until I opened my beautifully packaged parcel. The packaging was stunning and intentional, the quality of my bust is great. 10/10 experience and can't wait to have my bust for life, and hopefully do another in years to come.

My husband got me this amazing experience as a push gift for my first child. I am so beyond thrilled and over the moon with the entire experience from start to finish. It was the most beautiful end to my pregnancy journey and I cannot wait to capture this moment for my next pregnancy. Love love love!
