Bait and Switch, or ... ?

At 2:54 PM California time today, I received an email from Study Gateway entitled "HOURS LEFT: Lock in 20% Off FOR LIFE!" It went on to state, "Tonight is your last chance to get a Study Gateway plan for 20% off–as low as $5.30/month! . . . After 11:59 PM ET tonight, this special offer disappears."

Only problem is that it is impossible to take advantage of this offer. The Study Gateway web site does nothing but produce error messages. Also, of course, this email went out an hour AFTER the Study Gateway telephone customer service closed for the day.

It is particularly ironic that a Christian publishing company would act this way. By setting up an email offer to go out AFTER all the employees had left for the day, Study Gateway basically abandoned the customer base to which it sent this email.

Thanks for nothing.
