I have ran tests at several of the precious metal companies to see who ships their product quickly, reliably, packaged safely with very consumer friendly pricing...

Summit Metals is one of my favorites now. What they shipped me was BU in condition and below competitors in price and they fulfilled a simple customer request for my first order without any problems after an email to the company.

Everything arrived quickly and safely and in this industry that... in and of itself, is a great accomplishment.

These guys are good in my book!!

The website is easy to navigate showing what’s is in stock. Even with higher volume from demand my order arrived within 2 weeks of placing it. Arriving discreetly and secure. All emails and messages were responded to promptly. I highly recommend Summit Metals.

Warning to stackers out there SummitMetals is corrupt. You are not allowed to cancel any order without 5% loss. They did nothing for me except trouble and then I said no thanks, they stole my funds directly from my bank, an unauthorized transaction! Horrible customer service. I don’t think they would have shipped if I’d ordered. Stay away from SMetals.

My first and only experience with this company was not so great.

After an ACH order for $4,700 of silver on October 2, 2025, Summit Metals emailed the next day and canceled the order due to “unforeseen circumstances.” At the time of cancellation, I did not see any pending transaction in my bank account.

About a week later, I saw a $4,700 debit post. I emailed Summit Metals and was told the payment was reversed and that I should see the reversal within a few days.

Update: I contacted my bank and opened a claim. My bank issued a temporary credit while they investigated. Separately, Summit Metals did issue a reimbursement. For a short period, my account showed two credits of $4,700.
I confirmed with my bank that the bank’s credit was temporary and would be removed during the claims process since the merchant reimbursed me.

Summit Metals continuously contacted me by phone and email stating that my original ACH payment to them was reversed, so I need to send them $4,700 again, and they provided wiring instructions.

Summit metal sent me a demand letter stating that they will sue me for $4700 plus legal fees.

I never wired the money they demanded and informed them to contact the bank.

My bank has since removed the temporary credit on my account and Summit metals hasn't contacted me for a while.

Hopefully the situation is resolved. I should probably confirm with Summit Metals that they no longer plan on sueing me.....
