We ate the tasty selection for a week straight as meal replacement and we still like the taste, which says a lot. Use slightly less water than recommended, if you stirr the contents and you will be... See more

OUTDOOR FOOD DELIGHT

Much rather carry these around with me than pots and pans and bulky food items , BIG plus !!! Also lets not forget how tasty these are. Especially the beef and potato one ( my ultimate favourite ). I would buy up every last one of these if i could afford it. So quick and easy to make even an idiot like me can't go wrong. Bravo Summit. You are on to a winner with this. I'll certainly be getting more of these for my next outdoor adventure.

Very tasty

Very tasty. Light to carry but heavy on the belly 😜 It feels like you’ve had a decent meal when finished.

I opted to purchase the larger packets

I opted to purchase the larger packets. I’ve not eaten many dehydrated foods, but I enjoyed most of the meals, the salmon and broccoli was best. I found the beans mix a bit too salty and lacked taste. Overall the meals are filling and I did not feel the need to eat snacks, worth buying.

You sent me the wrong stuff

You sent me the wrong stuff. I ordered 6 freeze dried meals, stews, and rice etc. Sadly for me I didn’t check the contents of the parcels from
you until it was too late to re-order and receive in time for my hike.

You sent me 6 packs of dehydrated berries. Not a disaster, berries are nice, but they were advertised as “for sprinkling on porridge”. I’d have been fine if you included porridge but it was just the berries.

After walking 20 miles across rough terrain in cold, wet weather, every day, I’d pick a stew over the berries. I do like berries, just not as my only meal in a long distance hike.

Good dried food for camping etc

The 1st time I ordered, it seemed to take ages for delivery, but not this time. Delivery was perfectly prompt, and the food I have always found flavoursome and filling. The meat dishes have plenty of meat and where indicated plenty of vegetables. A good case in point is the Chicken Fried Rice I had on a recent canoe trip. Just what was needed for supper. Summit to Eat used to be significantly cheaper than some competition, but although still cheaper than some, the differences are less than was the case.

Tasty, easy to cook, light weight meals

We have tries the pasta bolognaise, veggie chilli, morning porridge and apple crunch meals so far. Very impressed with all of them! So easy to make and light weight. My daughter has been using them on her recent hikes and loves them. The nutrition content is much better than heavier, harder to cool alternatives.
