Would have been excellent but transferring money out wasn’t straight forward.

Been using Sum Up for about 5 years, never had any issues. Fees are very reasonable, it’s easy to use on a mobile phone, wouldn’t use any other! Highly recommend 👍🏻
Very easy to setup and use. Fast payments which is important for a small business.
I also like the fact that the account automatically categorises expenses so it’s easy to see what you’re spending.
As a taxi driver I use the Sumup device with printer . Despite the device saying several times “processed” when I got home and checked none of them registered so I lost over £100
Check your receivable balance daily , don’t take any cash advances as they often take much more than legally agreed . When sum up make mistakes or wrongly take your money it’s frustrating and not likely you can explain to the uninterested staff that you are owed money. Expect to ‘speak’ to many many non numerate chat agents who cut you off when they can’t be bothered helping to resolve serious disputes .
Easy to hacked, low customer service support, couldn't help a lot.
I have lost money and they promised me to help me and after several messages they totally ignored me .
Had to ring twice about a fault with card reader after sending requested email containing a video of faulty reader. After that the problem was sorted and new reader arrived following day
