In respect to Sunboudvillas i can only say good things.
Very king and always available for everthing.
In regards to the house i rented, the experience wasn´t so good.
The master bedroom doesn´t have a door and doesn´t have blackouts in every window. Therefor you hear all the noise upstairs, and wake up really early with light.
The worst part was that all the bedrooms had a strange smell. It seemed like the house had been closed for months. Really uncorfortable.

Very nice property but construction work spoiled the week
The house is comfortable, tastefully decorated, with all the necessary amenities and a great location if you want to walk to the beach but not be too close to the noisy nightlife. The garden and pool are also pleasant and spacious. Unfortunately there was construction work going on all day in the adjacent property, meaning that we had to experience significant visual and noise pollution for the entire week. When we booked the house, the web site said there would be no construction work during July and August, which turned out not to be true, supposedly due to changes in rules as a consequence of the pandemic. Still, we should have been warned and were disappointed to have our family holidays somewhat spoiled by this. Otherwise it was all mostly great, including the people in charge of welcoming us, who were friendly and professional.

Totally inflexible during Covid…
Totally inflexible during Covid pandemics in terms of postponing or cancelling the reservations, unbalanced portfolio (one of the houses I rented this year was clearly sub par for the rate) and poor customer support in solving logistical issues (when we needed to change from one house to the other during our holidays).

We value all of our clients so I am disheartened to hear that you were not happy with your stay.
However, I do find your comment about inflexibility during the Covid pandemic wholly untrue. I am pleased to say we have offered all of our clients who could not travel due to travel restrictions the option to move their booking. You live in Portugual and had a short drive to the Algarve in August with zero travel restrictions. I have viewed all of your emails and at no time did you request to postpone due to Covid 19. You did however ask to extend your booking by another week. Unfortunately as Marta explained it was not possible as the apartment was booked for the following week by another client. Marta found you an apartment for your second week in the same block.
I think Marta did very well on the busiest changeover day of the year organising a late check-out for you in the first apartment (12.00) and an early check-in for the second (12.00). I know this was not what you wanted but you did book a week initially during the busiest two weeks of the year.

Very good experience in Almancil!
We were very well installed, the house was great and very well-equipped. Everything was spotless on our arrival. Very clean, fresh environment and cabinets smelling good. Including beach towels, the flower in the bathrooms is also not common! It feels good to arrive at a house like this.
