New tutor on the platform, working well to message students. Can be a little difficult to get noticed as there are a lot of tutors, but it allows you to get reviews from outside sources so that helps.
Superprof NZ finds my students for me. I don't need to market or advertise; I simply need to teach. It's been a fantastic partnership.
Excellent learning & teaching Platform!
I love how easy it is to navigate through the website as a tutor.
The sign up is simple and whether you're looking for a tutor or doing some tutoring yourself I find that this is a good place to put an ad up or start. The students I have had are great and the tutor I went to was very understanding
I have been using this platform for a few years now and am mostly happy with it. They could have provided an upgrade guide or video when it was upgraded as the new format differed greatly from the previous one and at times it was frustrating to relearn everything.
Other than that, ticking over nicely.
Great as a tutor, takes away alot of booking issues, and is great way to get new clients, simple and useful.
I have been with Superprof for three years and am grateful for how much they promote me.
They are very helpful with how to create a winning profile and ways to become a super tutor.
I've tried advertising on my own and it's very expensive with little reach. I also joined another leading tutoring company and left quickly as it seemed quite scammy.
Superprof is 100% legit, they won't spam or bombard you or take massive cuts from your hourly fee.
I would recommend to anyone.
Easy to work interface, with a decent reach to students!
Still a lot to navigate around and would be nice to have ongoing updates after each lesson on payments especially if you have gone over time. Also would be great as a tutor if you can show days you are available to make propositions much smoother and easier.

Superprof does not indicate whatsoever that they will be charging you for a subscription fee of 59$, but then they will charge you that amount monthly, making it seem like you are paying money directly for a lesson rather than simply paying them huge amounts of money.

Tried to get a lesson for something, choose a tutor, after me having to follow up a couple of times, the tutor wasn't on the platform/rejected the request. They still charged me for a lesson, and I am currently waiting to hear back from them about a refund. Terrible system. would not recommend. I understand that the tutor might not be available but then still charging me and not responding for days when asked about it is very frustrating. I will have to complete a charge back from my bank.

Superprof is a confusing to use. Customers had to pay $59 to talk to the tutor. I have found a piano tutor Daeun in Pakuranga Auckland for my kid. But before I found out she lives too far, she already accepted my request. Which is ridiculous to pay for something before agreeing to purchase. Then Daeun refused to help to cancel the request saying it’s not her job to do so. However, the customer service confirmed that the tutor can cancel the request, which would’ve been much easier. Had to go through the platform for refund that took about 2 weeks.
Might as well go on to local Facebook groups for help

This is a great website to find students/teachers
Most of the students I have right now (I am a spanish teacher) have come to me through the app, the listing is easy to create and its very straightforward.
Warmly recommended!
It has been a really convenient way to find students, and is super easy to navigate.
The teacher I requested classes with never accepted the request, yet I was charged $59. I’m still trying to get a refund

I found it difficult to build up a base of long-term clients-this may be because tutoring companies is a saturated market. The website was easy to use, and I appreciated email reminders.
Really easy to connect with students. Great that you can decline if it doesn’t work for you too
The site is fairly easy to use and the online platform is pretty good too. Building up a group of clients is fairly difficult though - I don’t know if it’s the competitive nature of the market at the moment or not.
Great platform with lots of tutors and students. The only issue I have is that recommendations are categorized as reviews when displayed on a tutor's thumbnail
