I definitely do not recommend Surf Shop…

I definitely do not recommend Surf Shop Keppler. They have worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought there Starboard Airplane 255 in July 2025. I have received board with a bit unglued rail edge. Store advised to buy special Wurth glue and they will pay me back for the glue and repairing. I have never received this pay back. Unfortunately after using this board rail edge started to unglue more, together with center fin slot and foam on the board. Finally I decided to claim whole board in September. For me it was ok to get new board or money refund. After many emails, sending same information to different people in Surf Keppler, asking them to reply and weeks of silence they offered me only partial pay back or new board at the beginning of November. I agreed for new board. Delivery of the container from producer to Surf Keppler was delayed and they keep postponing me. I had to write to them every week asking if they have received the board. Finally, in the end of December they informed me that they have received the boards and if I want to have one I need to pay 250 EUR extra for it. That was too much. I decided to send everything back to them as I was extremely tired with this situation. Of course, it was not easy as well. At the beginning they wanted me to use my own courier and informed that they will pay me back only board cost. After quoting paragraphs of the low they agreed to pay back courier costs as well. However, I have never been charged back for the glue that I bought at the beginning even though they promised to do so and I sked them many times...
To sum up, the whole process of claim took 5 months, 39 e-mails and a lot of stress... think twice before You decide to buy anything in Surf Shop Keppler.

Reduced price demo products do not exist

Do not 'try' to buy their reduced price demo ware. You may wait for 3 weeks after having paid (>€700) and then your order gets cancelled without any explanation or communication. No reaction whatsoever on requests for information. They sell 'DEMO' stuff at reduced prices which they do not have.

B-choice products and lousy customer service

Ordered a JP Super Ride. The board arrived, and upon unpacking, it quickly became apparent that it hadn't been properly airbrushed. It clearly looked like a second-best choice.
I reported this immediately, and was advised not to put the board wet in the board bag. This was a strange response, as the board hadn't even been used.
I was then fobbed off with a €50 discount, which I refused to accept. I then received a new offer, but I never received more than €50. After numerous emails and poor communication, they stopped responding altogether. A lousy store and terrible customer service.
Once and for all.

Missing SUP board fin

Bought a SUP board but the fin was missing and they did not reply when i wrote that I want them to send me the missing fin. Otherwise the produkt was good and fast shipping.

Wrong product, worst customer service

Ordered a new sail, they sent an older (discounted) model. Very rude and not cooperative at all. They didn't even agree to refund the price difference. Just claiming that there is no difference between the sails. (Yeah, expect at least year model and price).

Surf Shop with no customer assistance

Surf Shop with very good products, sometimes also very good prices, but inefficient after-sales service.
Rekla mail doesn't reply after 2 weeks, at the phone call they are very generic. I have damaged product with a warranty almost expired and they don't care about it.
I wish I knew it before

I've recently bought a Ga Sails Manic…

I've recently bought a Ga Sails Manic from Surfkeppler. The sail has arrived, but, once I opened it, I noticed it had wrinkles in the clew area.
Probably, they are due to improper handling before shipping (someone must have pushed the top of the bag with the sail inside, or it has been stored upside down).
I just wrote to them to invite to pay more attention to product handling, because it's not pleasant to receive a new sail, with a bit of damage in the panels. I didn't ask anything else.

They replied "Sorry for the problem.
We can offer 80.-€ back for the - problem
And we offer .. one year more warranty –
To help for the – solution"

But, then, they disappeared.....

Worse than the sail damage ..... Better not to offer a discount, if you don't mean to proceed.

This is a fraud

I ordered several items, of which one (an impact vest) was out of stock. So they contacted me and refunded the impact vest. But all the other items I paid for are not delivered - or refunded. Of course, I tried to contact them several times- in vain. They only answer emails when you order something.

Best price and service.

Best price, excellent service.
Steve answered to my guestion In few hours at night!
Order was shipped next Day.
I'm happy customer.

Neilpryde foil was defective and front wing broke during first test.
I got new wing after two months and surfkeppler dealed issue with manufacturer.
Communication could be improved but I'm still happy customer and highly recommend surfkeppler.

No tracking info, poor communication

Bought an "immediately ready for shipment" board on Monday morning. Shipment was allegedly done on Friday. No tracking info has been provided, and the link "Package tracking" on their website redirects to the homepage. Communication via email is poor, and no tracking info has been provided even after being clearly requested. Side note: shipping was charged 85 euro from Germany to Italy - after paying such amount for delivery it becomes even more unacceptable the absence of tracking info.

Not happy with Surf Keppler

I am really dissatisfied with my experience at surfkeppler. They sent me the wrong product. When I contacted them I received no answer. I ended up sending the product back myself at my own expense. From a decent company I would expect an apology and an organised free return. Luckily there are plenty of other shops to buy expensive gear.

Not complete delivery, no response

They did not deliver the complete set that i ordered and payed. Vital screews were missing. That is irritating, but it can happen. What is absolutely not acceptable is that they do not answer when I contact them about the missing screews. No answer, nothing. Only silence.

I just bought a Starboard Inflatable…

I just bought a Starboard Inflatable Touring Tikhine Sun Deluxe SC 2021 11'6''x29''x4.75'' and the padle Starboard Enduro Tiki Tech sun.
After two weeks communcation by phone and email with Werner (to verify the right board and padle due to language (me swede, he german) I put the order and payment through Paypa on monday and got the items friday same week. And I´m so happy about the board.
Great service and quick replies.

Fast delivery good price

A week ago i ordered a new windsurfboard (RRD Firestorm wood v4) by Surf Keppler GmbH for a very good price, payed it with paypal. The communication was very good by phone and mail. Even after opening times they answerd my mail. Within 3 days after the transaction was completed i received the board in good order(with track&trace) at my home in Zaandam (Netherlands). Thnx for the very fast and good service.

Great service from Werner and team

Great service from Werner and team, i got my new Tabou board at the best price in Europe. This is my first big purchase in Germany since Brexit and it was good.

There are some issues with small delay in delivery because of Covid, but still good service from Keppler.
