New Managing Agents Stay Clear.
Any new/existing managing agents wanting to onboard their property, stay well clear of this RSL.
The operations manager's behaviour shocked us.
We first inquired about onboard start of July 2024. We were sent the onboarding application on July 10th, we had filled it out and sent it back and had thought a meeting would follow, However, this was not the case.
Although we were promised a meeting, nothing of the sort ever happened.
We were then told by the Operations manager that they were moving offices and it would take some time.
We gave them 4 weeks, still no emails sent to us for updates.
I finally called the operations managers mobile directly and he assured me he'll chase it up with the directors and his excuse was 'it's that time of year where kids are off school'. - fine. We waited.
Bare in mind, we had a property on our hands that sat doing nothing with the landlord getting frustrated about the Delay Sustain UK caused us.
Finally, mid September and after numerous calls and emails with no reply, we finally let them know we no longer want to board and also returned the property to the landlord.
This RSL made us a loss before we even started! Stay well clear from them.
We finally were able recoup our losses and obtained another property where we were onboarded within a week from another reputable RSL.
Take this warning if you are looking to onboard as I wish I had seen a review like this when I first came in contact with them and avoided them.
As we liaise with other managing agents too, none of them have anything good to say about Sustain UK. Stay well clear, they do not care about housing and support. They just mess you around.
