Had solar panels installed, they produced only 1/3 of what they should have.
Over the course of more than a year I've sent dozens of emails, to which I rarely if ever got a decent reply.
Finally put down a complaint, got in touch with a radio station and had an interview.
Only after that interview got broadcasted did I immediately receive a callback and a decent solution.

Then I had a battery installed with the promise that I would earn more than it would cost.
Got no information about the installtion untill I wanted to cancel, then it was installed within 2 months after waiting for new for over a year.
Are we earning money? Hell no, we pay on average MORE now than before with the battery because apparently the services we were promised were not compatible with our type of battery.

Stay far away from this company.

I had a 17-panel system installed a little over a year ago. The system is not producing anywhere near the energy it should be (less than a third) but when I tried to contact the company, I could not reach anyone. Searching on the internet I find that the company is no longer operating in Spain. They gave no warning to customers or any help with organising maintainence, repairs, etc. - only a list of manufacturer's contact emails.
I chose this company (for what is, for me, a large investment) because of its international reputation. I cannot express how badly let down I feel. If they have left Spain in this way, they could just as easily leave any other country.

I chose Svea Solar because they presented themselves as a reliable, long-standing European company. I invested over €24,000 installing solar panels on two properties in Spain — trusting their brand, their reputation, and their supposed commitment to long-term service.

Less than two years later, Svea Solar quietly abandoned their entire Spanish operation. No warning, no customer email, no phone call — just a vague note on their website saying they’ve left the market and that customers should contact Chinese manufacturers directly for any issues. Service or support? “Find another company.” That’s the message.

I now have two expensive solar systems with no warranty support and no accountability from the company I paid a small fortune to. This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s a betrayal of trust.

If Svea Solar can walk away from a market and leave thousands of customers in the dark with no support, what confidence should anyone have in their operations elsewhere?

Appalling conduct. Shame on you, Svea Solar.

I'm giving it 4 stars because our experience had a few hiccups, like some delays. But overall, things went as planned. Plus, I had an issue with my PV setup, which made it hard to get data on the app. However, the support I got was awesome, and Peter U and Tobias from Customer and Tech support were great! Huge thanks to them!

Installation and salesrep extremly professionell and fast even got the pannels setup about half a year earlier than first said. Only negative is that the app does not show what amount goes on the grid and what goes to us, and the customer support department is almost impossible to get in touch with, but a very good salerep has been good in getting almost all solved.

It would be Zero stars if it was possible. Please do not use this company. At first they are communicative and happy to assist. They respond quickly and are helpful..... but after you have had the product installed the service is abysmal. The emails remain unanswered for many days and the answers given are not sufficient, the customer service is the worst of any company I have ever dealt with in Spain. Do not spend money with this company you will be unhappy.
