Wonderful sausages
Wonderful sausages, free range and high welfare. Easy to order,very quick to deliver and always kept updated. Produce is fresh with a few days leeway and can be frozen. Lovely variety.

Fantastic meat as always
Fantastic meat as always from Swaledale. This is the second time we've served one of their shoulders of mutton to guests and both times it's been a big hit. Their steaks and sausages are also superb. Highly recommended.

Great products let down by delivery problems.
As usual, the meat was of the highest quality. I emailed regarding preparation guidelines and received a prompt and useful reply. However, the delivery delay caused by the couriers means one star less.

I’m very pleased to hear you were happy with the quality of the meat and that our reply on preparation was helpful.
I’m sorry the order was let down by the delivery. We use DPD because they are the only UK carrier offering the combination of nationwide perishable delivery and a one-hour delivery window, which makes life much easier for our customers and allows them to make the most of their time. Around 99% of orders arrive on the designated day, so the service is generally extremely efficient, but like most things in modern life, the occasional delay is frustrating and does happen.
That said, I completely appreciate how annoying that is when you are planning around a nominated delivery date. Thank you again for your balanced and thoughtful feedback.

Just to clarify, we don’t offer a collection service — we operate as an online delivery business only. We deliver nationwide five days a week and use DPD because they provide full tracking, delivery-day notifications and a one-hour time slot.
Where it can be more difficult is buildings with a communal foyer/entrance hall. As noted in our FAQs, parcels may be left in a foyer or post room where other residents have access, so it’s important to be on hand to collect the delivery promptly.
We do appreciate your support, and we’re sorry the delivery side has let the overall experience down.
