Terrible company, awful customer service.
Sent by my boiler insurance company to complete annual boiler service. After the service a small issue was noticed with intermittent hot water in the main bathroom.
The engineer who came to fix that small problem left with water leaking out of the top of the boiler, causing the whole system to lose pressure, something we only noticed when we returned at night. Nothing about this was mentioned at the time. I noticed the leak when I re-pressurised the system.
Called their out of hours number for help, no response, temperature was -3 degrees that evening.
Somebody came the next day and fixed the leak but now the overheat thermostat is broken (likely due to the leak they caused). Waiting for parts now since last week of December.
Since then they left us with 1x fan heater for a 5 bed house.
Office staff are generally uninterested and argumentative.
We are now 1 week with no heating and hot water in generally freezing temperatures and my 6 year old daughter had to start school this morning. Not happy.

ABSOLOUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY - LEFT MY DISABLED VUNERABLE CHILD AND DAD WITH CANCER WITH NO HOT WATER AND NO HEATING OVER XMAS - LESLIE FRONT PERSON ON THE PHONE EMBARASSED - SHANE PHONED ME UP AND TOLD ME TO GO AWAY - THE LADY MANAGER WAS RUDE AND REFUSED TO HELP ME - THEY WERE ALL PROTECTING THE ENGINEER WHO CAME OUT WHO WENT BACK AND SAID SOMETHING, I DONT KNOW WHAT IT WAS BUT ALL I WANTED WAS MY BOILER FIXED. THERE QUOTE WAS ALSO DOUBLE THE PRICE OF EVERYWHERE ELSE - WHEN I SAID I WOULD PAY THAT AS I WAS DESPERATE THEY THEN SAID THEY WOULDNT DO IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING I SAID TO THE ENGINEER!! WHEN I ASKED WHAT THIS WAS THAT I SAID THAT WAS SO OFFENSIVE - NO ONE KNEW! NO ONE COULD TELL ME WHAT IT WAS!! AS THERE WAS NOTHING SAID WRONG!! THEY JUST COULDNT BE BOTHERED - WASTED MY TIME ON A FRIDAY EVENING AND NOW LEFT ME ALL OVER THE WEEKEND WITH NO HEATING OR HOT WATER AND I CANNNOT FIND ANYONE OVER XMAS TO HELP EITHER - THEY DO NOT CARE AND THEY ENJOY IT AS THEY HAVE THE POWER!!

I have had South West Heating Services…
I have had South West Heating Services Ltd out to attend a boiler issue at my property. Thsi was on behalf ofteh insurance company. There engineer serviced my boiler and he left teh flue combustion cap of the flue and it wasnt noticed until our Carbon Monoxide detector actiavted at 3 in the morning. We called an engineer out and the cap had been left off and carbon monoxide was leaking in the room. Could of killed us. When I called the company and expalined the director laughed and put the phone down. Avoid this company if your insurance company send them out.

Don't touch with a really long barge pole.
We had a ground source heat pump fitted by this company which was commissioned in September 2018. We have been in dispute with them ever since. They were registered with NAPIT who we went through to get things sorted. They assessed our case and found in our favour and upheld our complaint. What did South West Energy Services do when threatened with losing their registration? They cancelled it themselves so they didn't have to make good our system. MCS the Microgeneration Certification Scheme also found in our favour. The Warranty backed insurance policy number quoted by SWES ltd wasn't recognised as they had hadn't registered the policy. Leaving us with no way of getting our system put right. We were also sold the system with a 7 year warranty. Guess what? they didn't register that also.
It appears that there are plenty of other customers who have been left in a similar state with them not really giving a damn about quality of workmanship and definitely not customer service. I have not put a review before as I have been going through different ways to try and get this rectified and didn't want to undermine any investigations. Now that I have a solution (Not by way of SWES ltd I might add) I can now help prevent anybody else going through the same issues and stress.
I understand that to get away from their responsibilities the company has gone into liquidation. Their website is still online.
Be very aware of using this company and carefully check what company name they are now working under. I contacted them and they do not answer with South west Energy Services LTD.

Sent out several times to assess boiler by the insurance company, but didn't check boiler for faults so ended up blowing two hot water pipes damaging our ceilings - hot water and steam poured through electrics. Left house with no hot water or heating for over a week now with two disabled occupants - Director not interested. Very poor service.

Greg was great. He worked very efficiently, was polite and helpful and completed a power flush of our gas central heating system perfectly within the allotted time. All the muck has gone and we've now got a clean system. I couldn't ask for more. I am a happy SW Energy customer.
