I needed a new bed and that was the time you did a lot of extensive research which led me to the site of mattress supermarket. Initially, I thought it was fake, as these high-class beds were so low priced. However, I made a decision to test it out and seat the ottoman bed with a luxury cashmere mattress, and actually I should inform you that I have made my own bargain. The ottoman bed has enough storage space, the headboard was crafted well and the third piece of the best quality that I have ever slept on is the mattress. It is also supportive and soft, therefore, I am quite satisfied, and I will purchase another one in the nearest future!
My order didn't arrive delivery driver…
My order didn't arrive delivery driver sent me a message on the day of my delivery at 10.40pm to say the van had broken down tried to ring both delivery and matress supermarket also sent emails and no answer/reply, delivery was apparently rearranged for another date and didn't arrive again
Poor communication and delivery
Waited nearly 2 weeks for a delivery. I accepted that and an agreed date.
Bed arrived without the headboard, the driver assured me it would come the next day, I was doubtful as the delivery company Prime Delivery is based in Birmingham.
To be sure I emailed both to explain had to be here within 2 days as I was due to go on holiday and back to work after.
No response by email, so I tried ringing twice. Phone just rang out a d eventually cut off.
I then get a delivery date by text fir delivery whilst on holiday, when that was rejected, another date whilst I am at work.
Poor communication, poor delivery service. Still awaiting a suitable outcome

I purchased a bed and mattress from Mattress superstore on the 2nd march 2026. Only for them to say they were unable to process my payment to which I received a refund. I then paid again and the same thing happened and then another time each time receiving a different order number.
At this point I went to my bank which advised me to get the company's bank details and pay them using this method and take screenshots as evidence of everything I did. Mattress supermarket was unable to supply bank details and insisted that I use their secure link, eventually I submitted and have paid yet again over a month after my original purchase.
When I have paid this time it says they are processing my order as if I am going to receive another poor quality bed and mattress which I do not want.
I would advise anybody to steer well clear of this company.

I placed an order for a bed and made the payment. A few days later I received an email asking me to make a payment. I contacted them and was told they had mistakenly refunded the original payment.
I did receive the refund and as requested I paid again. I then noticed the second payment was to a different company name.
The delivery date for the new bed arrived but the bed didn’t. The following day I received a telephone call asking me to make a third payment as allegedly the bed was damaged in transit and had been refunded.
I haven’t receive the refund yet and declined to make a third payment.
This appears to be a potential scam.

Your response is dishonest.
The original payment was not declined, it was approved and was taken from my card. The original payment was to SP Mattress Supermarket. The link you provided for the second payment appeared to also be from SP Mattress Supermarket but was actually to Forty Winks Beds.
You also attempted to have my review removed by reporting it for containing defamatory information. Your request was denied by Trustpilot as it is in fact factual.

Payment one was made to Mattress Supermarket, payment two which I believe was going to Mattress Supermarket too, was to Forty Winks. Two different accounts.
I have not even provided a review on your actual service, such as delayed delivery, followed by a failed delivery with no communication and the excuses you have provided such as issues with your systems and an issue with the courier who caused damage.
It seems to me like you need to review your business practices and be honest with your customers rather than attempting to make excuses and apply for reviews to be taken down by trustpilot.
My advice remains, Buyer Beware.

My feedback is factual and is therefore not defamatory. To be defamatory I would have needed to make false statements presented as fact. My opinion has been presented based on proven facts.

I will not contact your customer services department as I do not wish to receive the bed given my poor customer experience.
I have ordered a bed from elsewhere.

To summarise, I placed an order and made payment which cleared from my account. You emailed to request a further payment and I telephoned you to understand why. You advised that my original payment had been refunded, at that stage I had not received the refund.
When the refund arrived a couple of days later, I used the link you emailed to me and made the second payment. The second payment was to a different account name than the first.
The bed was due to arrive on Sunday 22nd March but did not arrive. I received no contact from you on this date.
I received a telephone call from you asking me to make a third payment, a day later, which I declined to make. You advised me that the bed was damaged in transit and I would receive a refund, which is why I needed to pay again.
At that point in time, and at the point of making the above reviews I had not received the refund. I now have.
My full review is genuine and summarises the terrible customer service you have provided.
I have not edited any of my reviews. Each part of my review was in response to your review replies.
You have accused me of deformation and of making a false review, you have also asked trustpilot to remove my review.
This is extremely disappointing as my review is neither deformation or false . Rather than take ownership and acknowledge that on this occasion your company has made a mistake you have made allegations against me and have edited your response to my review.

This company is a scam please beware.
I ordered a bed on the 28th February. It was meant to be delivered on the first week of march.
On the 6th of march I get an email saying there was something wrong with their system and they auto refunded me, and in order to complete purchase I would need to pay again. They. then sent a follow up email with a payment link.
I checked my bank, no refund came though, so they were just trying to get me to pay again.
This happened 4 more times. They requested the payment 4 more times saying each time I tried to pay it didn't go through, even though I didn't try to pay again.
They scheduled 4 delivery days, didn't show up to any of them. No bed. No refund. They have just fully cancelled my order now, told me I won't be receiving it but i'm welcome to go to the website and re order.
Still no sign of my refund.
I called them on the phone. After 2 weeks someone picked up from a random call centre saying a refund takes 2-3 days. It's been 17 days now. I asked what the hold up was and he said I should sort it out with my bank.
Please please avoid this company, their low prices are there to sucker you in, but you won't receive your bed and you'll just lose your money.
I really think the 5 star reviews here are fake.
I really hope trust pilot don't hide this review as it's really serious

Excellent Heavy Duty Double Divan Base With Four Drawers
I was so very pleased with the heavy duty double divan base I purchased from Mattress Supermarket. There was a good choice of bases to select from, and the ordering process was very straightforward. The company kept me informed of delivery date and time and the delivery drivers were most polite and helpful.
Don't order from them
Order a bed base, with in 4 hours I cancelled the bed base. I asked for the item to be cancelled and on the original sales email it stated (Your order has been canceled
Order #MS21628 was canceled at your request and your payment has not yet been refunded). A member of staff had been emailing me stating it had been refunded, the payment was sent through Google pay so if a refund had been initiated they would state this. I then questioned it all via email and received a phone call making out my bank had to process the refund, but no verification that a refund had been done, just say so. The call was a 'you don't know what your taking about call and this how it is etc'. I've still had no sales email with fully refunded, waiting on my banks response and then trading standards.
