This swimscarf not worth the money

This swimcap is sold on design and quality. I purchased in may 2022. The cost £26.95 plus £3.50p&p. It lasted 16 months before it ripped. I do not have long nails. I emailed the company and they believe this is a reasonable life span. I have had cheaper hats last within a year, give or take. With that price I could buy 3 swim caps. I swim regularly and the cap is not particularly better, in terms of waterproof, than its cheaper counterparts.
