I rarely feel like I’m conscious of what my body’s doing when focusing on work at my desk. This chair has put me back in touch with my body. I sit upright easily. The movement and angle of the seat mean I keep the curvature in my spine. My knees and hips are at a great position. I don’t have to try to keep good posture (trying doesn’t work in my experience). The body will do the right thing, given the right conditions.

I have been seeing an osteopath every few months due to lower back discomfort. My job means that I sit at home at a computer and my problems are caused by posture. My osteopath recommended this chair to me and I decided to give it a go a year ago. I cannot slouch in the chair like I used too and I have found that my lower back has improved immensely. I don't feel like I have to visit the osteopath so frequently and the feedback from my osteopath on my back has also been positive. The chair is very well made and looks great and very modern. The support from the team at Symbiotic chairs is also excellent. Would definitely recommend this chair.

This chair makes my hips happy and my posture strong. I absolutely love that it is an environmentally friendly product to boot.

I've been using the symbiotic chair in my clinic for around six months now. I love the adaptable seat which allows a variable amount of rake as required, but also the supportive back when it's needed. The springy seat feels solid and really comfortable and the movements keep my back loose.

The only downside is that the hands used to tighten the back and seat in position are a little hard to grip, but once it is set up it is very sturdy! I think it will last for a long time too.

Customer service was excellent - absolutely faultless. The chair arrived promptly and well protected, and it's a very beautifully made item - top quality materials and workmanship. Nice adjustability too, and I'm certain it will last for decades, not just years. Highly recommended.

Ive been an osteopaths in practice for 23 years now and have been looking for a chair that provides active sitting for ages . This chair does that ! The patients who try it find it a bit strange at first as they are use to a firm base but after a couple of day get to love it and hate going back to a chair with a passive base. Thoroughly recommended for discal patients

This chair is not only an "icon design" but it is extremely effective in providing a good body position.
It is an excellent purchase. Highly recommended.

The design is excellent, both aesthetically and ergonomically. I have a sight problem and am using it to sort through thousands of family photos for children and grandchildren. I can thoroughly recommend the chair.

I am a screenwriter and spend long days typing. As I get older I find it's taking it's toll on my body. I ordered one of the Symbiotic saddles and I can't stress enough how much of a difference it's already making to my posture and reduction of the pain in my back and legs in particular.

I love this chair! It's very comfortable and allows me to change my position a little bit frequently. It's replaced my old chair, ball and kneeling stool so there's much more room in my cramped office! The customer service is great too.

I can't rate this chair highly enough. It was recommended to me by my physio as I had been having some lower back pain and it has definitely alleviated it. I love the way it moves with me and I'm not so static all day long when I'm WFH. Much more comfortable than your average office chair and looks great too!

I had had my old office chair for nearly 20 years and although, in its time, it was ergonomic, it had begun to feel like a plank. Having a chronic back problem, I was looking for a new chair that would not only be more comfortable to sit on but that would actually help me to sit better and so relieve some of the problems I was experiencing. I'm delighted that I found the Symbiotic chair, which is fulfilling all my hopes; it is very comfortable and the natural movement of the seat gently works my core muscles, improving my sitting posture and supporting my back, thus eliminating pain in my lower back and shoulder/neck.

In addition to that, the chair is easy to put together and it looks great too. The whole process of buying it was a joy. The service from Symbiotic was personal from the moment of my initial inquiry to point of putting the chair together; it was always possible to speak to someone and and receive helpful advice and I was kept well-informed of progress while I was waiting for delivery.

Altogether, I couldn't be happier with my experience.

This chair is incredible. Having had to switch to working from home in the pandemic I developed neck and back pains from working at an unsuitable ad hoc desk space for long hours but this chair has changed all that. Since getting my chair I haven't had a single bit of pain and I no longer dread sitting at my desk for long periods of time.
On top of my love for the chair itself I also had a wonderful experience with the whole purchase process. The member of staff who helped me was great at explaining how the symbiotic chair encouraged active sitting and answered all my questions wonderfully. He also helped with the delivery and setup of my chair personally and I could not rate the service I received highly enough.

Fantastic support from Matija and really excellent quality active chair.

It was recommended by my osteopath, arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. Build quality is on its own league.

I use it in my music studio, where I'm either at computer, or at desk and sliding around to reach knobs/sliders, synthesisers, or playing guitar or bass (ideal as it's also without arm rests!).

The fact it bends with me as I move around is a pleasure, healthy and also more comfortable.

Also very good for the nice small footprints it has compared to most other chairs.

I've been using it now for two days now, interesting how I feel my lower back muscles are working out while sitting, and definitely not feeling stiff when standing up even after hours being sit on it.

I bought this chair to replace my much used and abused spinalis. I am surprised to say it out performs my old spinalis chair, which I loved. It moves very smoothly on it's castors, it has the option of excellent lumbar support and the build quality is very impressive.
