We couldn't be happier with Avtar and his team at Taaj (Ricky, Mani ect).

He did a complete back-to-brick renovation (which included 2x internal wall removal, chimney breast removal, 2x bathrooms, new underfloor heating, new staircase, new kitchen ect) in our three bed terraced house in Finchley and it took ten weeks. He gave us a reasonable quote that was in the ball park of other quotes we got. Amazingly to us, the cost didn't come to a penny more than quoted; in fact, he prompted us for extras (e.g an outside tap, outside, lights, coving ect) and when I asked him how much more it would cost I was simply told to get the materials and he would sort it. I particularly like the way Avtar splits the quote into milestones and you only pay once you are satisfied that that section of the project has been done (e.g completed upstairs bathroom).

Avtar is knowledgeable and contactable 7 days a week up until late (my wife and I work long hours and would often contact him late at night and get immediate responses). He is enthusiastic about his projects and making sure his clients are happy with his teams work. The renovation was quick and finished to an extremely high standard.

I found Taaj design and build from google at the last minute when our builder let us down saying that he can't start the project for the next 6 months. We already gave notice at our previous place and renting another place wasn't the option while paying the mortgage for the new place.

After the brief phone call, Harpreet and Avtar were able to visit us the next day. Their quote was reasonable and they were able to start in one weeks time. It was a big relief and an additional bonus to have such a professional team to handle the project. They kept in communication with me through the whole process. They made sure that I was fully satisfied at every stage and provided top notch end results. I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for a home builder.

We used Taaj to provide architect drawings and structural calculations ahead of starting our big renovation work. Niccolò the main architect provided really good ideas for re configuring the ground floor of our house.

After a lot of searching, we approached Taaj design and build for our extension and renovation project in Gerrard's cross.

From the initial consultation, they clearly laid out the steps from architectural designs through to build, navigating the building regs, planning and the tender process to give us a clear idea of the process, costs involved and timelines.

They provided us with really creative designs and architectural ideas, while being mindful of ensuring that we were happy with the final decisions. The entire team was great at communication and easy to work with.

It made sense to go with one team for all the work instead of hiring an architect, consultation company and a project manager separately.

During the build, Avatar provided us great practical support, even about the decorative items which were not the part of their work. They would even reply outside working hours when needed. We also used their sister companies Taaj kitchens and MrWardrobe for the joinery work.

I'm extremely pleased with their service and I'll highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to modernise their house with beautiful designs and minimal hassle. Great value for money.

Im a developer, and i have been working with Taaj for the last three years on 2 large developments. Great work ethics and quick turnaround times. They have handled the projects very well and delivered top-quality workmanship. They have taken care of party wall agreement, structural calculations, as well as the actual build and the interiors. Most of the 2nd fix suppliers were recommended by them as well. Overall, it's a great company to work with.

We are half way through our new build project and I can confirm that the team we are dealing with at Taaj are brilliant. From the initial quote to the project management, they have been proactive. Some of the positive points working with them will be - competitive prices, proper contract agreement in writing, payment divided into multiple milestones, each milestone payment to be released on completion of that particular milestone, friendly and hardworking staff, regular updates of the progress and deadlines are being met. Really pleased with the service and highly recommended.

Very happy with the work done by Taaj, they renovated our house and built an extension in the back and I must say, it looks perfect! They listened to what I wanted and paid attention to every detail and held great communication throughout the process. They let me know what was being done and when and even suggested better ideas to me which I loved. Points for creativity!
