They do have customer support, but some of them do not understand English

They do have customer support that promptly responds, but some of them do not understand English, so they put e-mails in a translator. But even then a lot of times they do not understand.

I asked one person through support@taboola at least three times a simple question, and he didn't understand.

I couldn't even start a campaign because he couldn't understand simple English.

This is probably a red flag, sign, to not use them. I don't know .. . .

You're treated like an ant by Taboola

This company is very disorganized and confused. I attempted to onboard with them for a couple of months. They sent me to the wrong place. There is a different portion of the company that places ads on websites, which is what I wanted. I finally got to the right place and onboarded -- then a few weeks later I received an email saying they were not going to work with me anymore, but didn't tell me why. It seems I violated some rule of their but since they didn't specify which one, this was not a learning experience. Then they didn't pay me. I had to go through numerous emails to my former customer rep, and then to accounting and finally to their Legal Department in order to get paid. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing at this company. I got with other ad revenue providers after Taboola that I can actually talk to and now things are fine. Avoid this place if you can. There are better companies out there to do business with, people that you can talk to. Here, you're treated like an ant on an anthill. You don't matter.

Live Lock Screen Last Straw

Taboola are responsible for intrusive interference into people's private phone usage. Certainly I will not use any company which uses their advertising techniques. The "Live Lock Screen" was the last straw!

Please contact me

Taboola should as a platform verify and check if their advertisers are real and Genuine, and ethical, not just promote any business and suffer like I have with your advertisement from Reliffoot based in China who falsely advertise a 60 day unconditional money back Guarantee, but Don't honour it. I have been trying to get my money back and Reliffoot the scammers are not responding.

So unless Taboola get smart and stop the scammers like Reliffoot, your business will suffer as well.

They banned me a couple of times a while back, and I was still fairly new to advertising, which was the biggest waste of my time. the thing i hate most about all these advertisements, including this one, is they cant even give you a reason for it, such as, i created an ad next thing i know, i got a list of policies They were not specific; they just make you read through all of them but dont be specific. sucks

We have reached out to Taboola to see how we can cooperate on publishing native ads on our website.
I got an immediate response from Nawa Ferman and had our first touch point via a call. She explained potential cooperation benefits and how we could proceed. I found her quite engaging and knowledgeable.
Let's see what the cooperation would bring - so far so good I must say.

There is no way to put a zero star, this company basically sells an ad and then when ads are clicked they redirect the traffic to other landing pages, and when you contact their support some people just start saying that the issue is on your side, they just steal your money guys, DO NOT USE THEM

This company is unscrupulous

This company is unscrupulous. They make misleading statements so that you click on their advertisement and when you get in find that nothing is mentioned about the statement. For example, they said these new camper vans cost next to nothing and you open it up and it is just an advertisement for buying and selling camper vans, nothing about the Vans that cost next to nothing

Jus been threatened with legal action if we dont pay over £2k for 11,000 clicks that generated no form fills.
As they said when we queried this: "...traffic is paid for on a cost per click model, rather than a performance model..." and "...you are liable to pay..."
No flexibility on charges after shocking performance after being advised to run a high budget to allow the 'algorithm' to do its work.
Need to say more...??

Conned me out of $150 in advertising

I signed up with Taboola to display some advertising for them. I own a couple of high traffic web sites. After exchanging some emails with them, we struck a deal and I started running their advertisements.

The particular web site I was running their ads on has been delivering Google Adsense advertising for well over 10 years. The web site also adhered to the strict Google Adsense policies when it came to delivering ads. I was interested to see if there were any viable alternatives to Google’s Adsense out there and Taboola seemed a good alternative.

To my dismay Taboola blocked the Taboola account/login I had after two weeks of delivering advertising for them. I believe the revenue after two weeks stood at more or less $150 worth of advertising that was delivered to them. Trying to contact them to enquire what the problem was, were met with only silence. They simply ignored my emails. To this day I’m still confused to the issue that would make them block the account.

So, there you have it. Being in another country there is absolutely no recourse on this matter. I’ve been scammed out of $150 USD of advertising that Google Adsense would have happily honoured like it did for the past 10 years. At least I can post a complaint in Trustpilot.com! Thank you Trustpilot for your platform so that I could have at least vented my frustration at being blatantly ripped off by Taboola.com!

Taboola Sucks Deez 🥜🥜

Taboola is a clickbait scam for advertisers. Ads that advertisers purchase land on publishers websites that reveal no relevant content to the advert that they are attempting to drive traffic to... resulting in a failed ad spend with no leads or conversions. It's pathetic that Yahoo, Pushnami and a few others... Partnered with them. Their customer service is a big negative issue with me also. Don't even think about using their platform. Taboola 5 Star reviews are made up by their team. Beware... Trust Pilot is in their pocket... !
