Scary- nobody I knew had a reliable electrician. By chance, Karl’s leaflet had come through my door. Looking at the video of Karl Brooks on Tack Electrical, I knew I could trust him to make my house safe. He came to see me the same day and sent a written quote. Connor came Friday and worked like a hero for nine hours. New fuse board, two new lighting bars, security light, two new switches, earthing done properly, shed and extension connections made safe, all at a price I had predicted. Courteous, knowledgeable and reassuring. Like Karl said, ‘This is what we do, all day every day’. Brilliant!!

An honest, experienced electrician.
Karl came out personally to sort out an electrical fault on a Saturday when he knew there were vulnerable people involved in the household. He not only located the problem but dealt with another issue which could have been a huge problem if left. He then organised a central heating colleague to come the next day to fix the cause of the electrical fault. Although the whole procedure required quite a lengthy visit Karl honoured his estimate which was very honest. We shall definitely use him again in the future.

Originally called in Karl in to replace a faulty radiator, during the visit he noticed that our IET Wiring Regs BS 7671 inspection was overdue. He and Connor did an inspection, found and fixed a number of non-compliances. Job took less time than estimated! Very efficient.

We have used Karl and Tack Electrical…
We have used Karl and Tack Electrical consistently for all our electrical jobs over the past few years. This has included outdoor lighting, indoor lighting, and larger fusebox related work.
You know when you are onto a good thing when other unrelated tradesmen from electrical utility companies come in and say - of Tack's work - "Oh, that's a nice job!".
That has been our experience - the communication and the aftercare and the expertise have all been excellent.
Furthermore on one indoor lighting job, there was an issue with the brand of lighting and the manufacturer, and Karl went way beyond the call of duty - at considerable effort to himself - to ensure the products were replaced with a new brand at no extra cost.
We have no hesitation in recommending Karl and the Tack Electrical Team.

Door Buzzer issue resolved over the telephone!

Second time of using Tack Electricals Highly Recommend
Second time of using Tack Electricals - first time was for a new fuse box, this time it was to replace an electrical switch on the boiler. I would recommend to friends and family and if i need any further electrical works i will definitely use them again. Cannot fault their workmanship and both times i have found them to be reliable and extremely conscientious.

Great customer service
Installation of a couple of floodlights. Karl was extremely helpful and efficient. His communication was good and the work was carried out to a good standard. One of the floodlights needed adjusting and Karl returned a few days later to adjust the settings. Rare these days to see tradesmen return once they've been paid, so credit to Karl. Would highly recommend using this Company.

I recently had an electric shower installed in a property with very low hot water pressure. We never had a shower fitted before, so everything had to be done from scratch.
From the moment I requested a quote, the communication was quick and professional. The installation itself was completed in one day, which was impressive given the complexity.
I’m extremely happy with the quality of the work and the speed of service. The team was efficient, tidy, and clearly experienced. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and fast service!

I cannot speak highly enough about the team. After a bad experience with a previous electrician I called Tack and now have people I can rely on to do an excellent job. They are thoroughly professional and trustworthy. I’ve used them both on my house and my mum’s and couldn’t be happier. I would never consider calling anyone else but Tack. Karl and Connor have been superb.
