No Customer Service. Can't talk with a live person as a recording says "no one available today, please send email".
Ordered a Patriot 35S Compact on December 6th and received it on December 28th 2024. No sign of damage with the shipping container. Opened the box and removed the product finding the shelf very loose. Opened the unit with the keycard after many tries and found one of the latches holding the door together by a few threads of one screw. The second screw head was broken off. Also missing was the Compact Damper which they sent 10 days later. i have been sending email requests for a return authorization even after responding to their 1 request for pictures, my address and order#. All I want is a return authorization and refund to my purchase account. BTW I had purchased a second one before I received the first one and it was delivered complete and working properly! UNACCEPTABLE Customer Service and would NOT recommend this company. Looking for closure of this issue.
Will revamp this review if i get satisfactory results.

the product came with no assembly instructions - the website says they are in the box - they are not - I have called three times and sent 4 emails with no response - just a automated response saying they received my email and would respond within 48 hours, they haven't. My husband has also sent 2 emails. right now I have a $500.00 pile of wood. Nice wood but no instructions on how to make it a end table -
In review to the response from the company - the link you sent me is what what I need, if you actually look at the link you sent, step two says to assemble the table per the instructions in the box - there were no instructions in the box. Also you defiantly have not responded to my emails. My last email was supposed to be escalated to a manger with a response in three days, it has been 4 days and I have not heard back

Really bad design. We purchased a shelf and it came to us cracked. They sent us another one and that one was also cracked but because it took many calls to customer service and sending photos, we decided to just keeep it. Then, we couldnt get what we needed out of the shelf once we locked it. We had to download an app which didnt work and had to jump through hoops to talk to multiple people. My husband said he is not going to put anything in there and at this point its just a $400 shelf thats useeless. The company really also didnt do anything to help resolve it like send us a new shelf or give us other options.

I like the shelf but the amount of emails you get from them for marketing is over the top.
I ordered one and I did not get a email saying I ordered it so after a couple weeks I ordered another one. They both arrived the same day. I returned one at my expense ($45.) I believe they should have helped me return since their system never ever sent me an invoice or anything else other than marketing!
Not a “good” company to deal with.

I ordered three shelf units for gifts a few weeks before Christmas. I was worried they wouldn’t arrive in time so I emailed them. Bree advised they were still in production but, since they were gifts, she would make sure I received them on time. She kept in communication with me and they arrived in plenty of time for Christmas!

Got a second tactical trap shelf after a good experience a couple of years ago. I received the new one last month. The quality of the finish and operation is now poor at best. I ordered a walnut color to match my existing one and they sent me a lighter Early American color stained one and keep arguing it is the Walnut stain, which it is not. Also, more importantly, the plunger system is defective and it opens dangerously slow, about 4 seconds, when they advertise a one second drop for immediate access. They keep making excuses instead of sending me a new one. Finally, they want me to pay for shipping to return their defective product. I do not recommend them anymore as their quality control and standing behind their product is now terrible and it will cost me additional money to return their defected product. Buyer Beware. They are not the company they use to be.
Update- After a lot of discussion and unnecessary they sent me a return label and it was mailed and to the business to be replaced. The bottom line to this is they have an unconditional return policy and the unit had a mechanical opening defect, besides the finish issue. I will wait to modify my review after I receive the replacement. I am surprised as my previous shelf was excellent. Paul

My batteries were dead, I used the battery back up and got my tactical trap opened, and accidentally shut it before I replaced the batteries. I spoke with Bree and she was able to figure out the issue, and sent me the necessary info and items I needed to open it and reprogram it. Company is very responsive and security conscious! I love my Tactical Trap!

We have purchased a few items from Tactical Traps. Recently, an item was sent damaged during shipping. The box and packing were insufficient for the item. I understand that Tactical Traps has a contract with UPS for shipping, however Tactical Traps went above and beyond to rectify our issue. We are extremely happy with the replacement item. Was given one for Xmas last year. Couldn’t use for the first month or 2. Wouldn’t open correctly. Finally got that worked out somewhat. Now I had to change my batteries. Changed batteries now latching mechanism won’t latch. Need new latch mechanism but this one is less than a year old. Am not going to buy another one. Kind of have to jump through hoops for anything. Probably will not buy another

Bought a mirror and it won't open. Emailed them and followed their instructions. This didn't work. Called them and they want me to film trying to do everything that I had already done and send it to them. I ask them if they could give me some things to try. Of course they couldn't. Very unhappy with this purchase.

The quality of the table I received was very good. Fit, finish and the hardware were right up to expectations. The furniture is better than big box furniture store products at similar prices. The order turned around in about 12 days. I was short on part but with a email to Tactical Traps the problem was resolved in a day.

My husband rebuilt the bottom that we had to pry open & ordered new USB cord for xtra battery pack & is working again. The USB was not working so we had to pry it open that ruined bottom front but we rebuilt & stained it now good as new. Make sure everything works when you get it!!
