Reputation over profit

Very responsive. American made. Explained exactly how it was made. Sent instructions on how to use and care for the pan. Followed up to make sure I got it. What more could you ask from a company. Sorry to see them go.

I was somewhat disappointed with the three shipping time but I was in no hurry. I have used skillet about 8 to times, The primary uses so far have been to searing steaks/pork chops or frying chicken/fish.
There is definitely a learning curve in using the pan as what is considered medium to medium high heat on an electric cooktop is apparently much higher temperature than a gas cooktop and you have to allow for longer cool down periods. Am getting better with each use and I am really liking this pan a lot better as I gain experience using it.

Don't trust this company

Don't trust this company. The advert is a scam for starters. The image is an AI image, and the 'countdown' resets each day.

I cancelled my order within an hour, as I realised teh company is based in China. No one replied. Then 2 days later they took payment, the next day the order was dispatched. I wrote two further times during that period, and no one has replied.

A return to this company would be risky and can cost around $20, so barely worth it. A refund may well not happen.

Don't buy. There are no guarantees on the basis of their poor customer service, that anything they say (including quality of the product) is true.

Thank you Taitan family and team!

The quality of the fry pan. The free user guides and intro to cooking with titanium metal are helpful. The ability to give-back to a decades-long contributing family company. The unusual attention to the shipping journey that resulted in extra 'help' from Taitan's end to engage with the local/last mile delivery company when they stalled. Thank you Taitan family and team!

Total scam

Total scam. Good luck if you need any level of customer service. If you want to return something they ask you to ship it to China. Go figure. They use an Made in America story to sell 100% Chinese garbage then follow it up with B.S. customer service and AI generated emails.

The most awesome piece of cookware!

I purchased a small 10.2” pan with a lid and love it! I followed Dan & Eric’s instructions on oiling and heating the pan before adding ingredients to the pan and not a single ingredient stuck to the pan! They are in contact with you every step of the way from the time you order till you receive your cookware. I’m trying to quickly decide on another piece! Thank you for a great piece of cookware and for a truly attentive experience. Wish all companies understood customer service as Taitan!

Poor Quality Pot (Titanium coated)

Issue #1: I used it only once and the poor quality was evident. The pan turned brown after being on medium heat for 35 minutes. I have other titanium pans (from other manufacturers) and they're solid. I suspect this pot is titanium coated, rather than made of titanium.
Issue #2: The pot came with lid assembly instructions (how to put together the lid and cap on top) but there was NO LID. When I wrote to customer service they wrote back saying they stopped giving lids because of low inventory and attaching the assembly instruction is just a custom practice.
Be advised: If you had used the pot they will NOT refund. To be fair, they did offer me a partial refund and I accepted it, rather than spending my own money shipping it abroad.

Summary: Not an honest business

Summary:
False advertisement, bait and switch, no contact phone numbers. Absolutely horrific products and service. Steer clear away.
It is never easy to admit that you were had. That's the bottom line. I should've done my due diligence prior to ordering.

Review:
The story of a chef and engineer brothers founding this company is a nice hook they throw together with an ad suggesting 70% off. The more I think about it the more stupid I feel.
So I ordered decently looking frying pan and a cutting board (both titanium ostensibly). They looked so nice on the web and the price was about what I was willing to pay for some nice pieces of equipment, they supposedly were.
Then problems started right away. The shipment tracking info was bogus - the main entry there said it was on the way to the next "station", this same message was repeated every hour and in total, until actual delivery, it had 27 such records, spanning the entire 10 days of en route info. Strike #1. This turned out to be the least of my worries.
The package arrived wrapped in multiple layers of scotch tape so tight, it took me close to fifteen minutes to get to the actual content. The box which was supposed to be a nice, solid carton box in deep blue with the company logo on it was instead a make shift box built out of two old generic cartons approximately fitting the size of the goods inside. Strike #2. And that was for a $200 (original price) skillet and $99 (original price) cutting board, both in the same package. No reputable company does it this way.
Inside I found something that most closely resembled a piece of roof sheet metal leaf, which a baby could fold in half, nothing like a solid, 5mm thick cutting board, adorned with a company logo on their web site. Strike #3.
Moreover, it turned out that everything was produced in and shipped from China. No serious home cook uses Chinese implements for their craft. At least I don't and had I known that in advance, you wouldn't be reading this review.
After multiple back and force emails they are still refusing to admit that the products they ship are not the ones they picture and sell.
I have compiled a nice file complete with photographs from real life and those taken from their web site to make a solid case with BBB.
Finally, the company claims that they are in final sale due to the "brothers' retirement".
This sale was supposed to end in 5 hours 20 days ago but the clock on their counter keeps resetting itself each and every day. I'm determined to make this sale REALY FINAL for them. My BBB complaint is in the works, my credit card company has been notified too.

I Love cooking with my Taitan Pans!

I was very pleased with the ease of ordering, also the quick shipping and delivery.
I followed instructions for the one time pan prepping. These pans are fantastic and as promised for non sticking! A breeze for cleaning up.
The best part is they are not putting unwanted toxins in my body.
My only regret is that I didn’t know about them sooner!

These are my new go to pans for cooking with. I have already disposed of a couple of my old ones.

I have been cooking for 60 years and have different pans for different cooking methods, My new Taitan pans will be replacing at least 3 or 4 more of my old ones.
My true test for non- stick is to cook eggs. If I can make a perfectly cooked fried egg and have it slide right out of the pan without any broken egg yolks, or sticking anywhere….. “It’s truly a good quality non- stick pan. A delight to use for cooking many dishes!
