I don't know what I would have done without Tandem. From scouting places to navigating the German bureaucracy to renovation, Ron and Ilan have supported every step of the process. It's an incredibly personal and hands-on service, and they helped us get exactly what we hoped for in the end.

I've been around the block for some time as well as bought and sold properties in the past but when it came to purchasing a flat in Berlin, the language berrier and the unfamiliar beurocracy felt a bit overwhelming.
Finding Ron and Ilan atTandem Estate was my best bet.
They both make an amazing team. They did their best to give an answer to all my needs, at any time, if its to come inspect the flat or translate documents. They walk me through all the stages with great positivity and confidence. Nothing is too complicated or difficult to conquer when its in their hands
Now days its so difficult to find people one can trust. I find Ron and Illan, professional, honest, quick and sympatic and one great plus, they are connected with the best notary firm in Berlin.
These guys get things done.

We highly recommend these guys. They made the complicated process of finding and buying a property in Germany as stress free as possible. We had the added complication that one of us is not a fluent German speaker and they were experienced enough to help us manage this problem with ease.
We felt fully supported throughout the whole process. From the enthusiastic beginning of trying to find the right property for our budget; to the viewing of the properties and providing their expert advice on the possible problems with the buildings; to knowing what additional charges would also be expected in addition to the sale prices was a huge help with managing our budget. Then the concluding part of arranging of the mortgage and all the other documents required for the purchase.
Having these guys help us with the buying process really helped to reduce the stress and sudden surprises that occur during this procedure.

My experience with Ron and Ilan was just great. They were always available for questions and calls, proactive and professional. Overall I think we’ve checked more than 50 properties during 6 months and at the end I’ve bought my dream apartment. Everything during process was seamless. Very important - guys are not forcing you into anything or hurry up. If in doubt they always recommend to make a stop and move forward only if you are 100% sure. And I changed my requirements during search and they were always very patient about that. Highly recommend!

Ron and Ilan are the best experts you can ask for when purchasing an apartment in Berlin.
Always available, answering any question we had and inquiring about any topic we wanted to know more about.
That, without ever making us feel like we have too many questions or care about silly things.
They saved us from purchasing a questionable apartment and always made sure we are getting exactly what we want, checking for problems in each apartment we visited.
If something matters to us - it matters to them and they did everything to help us find (and get) what we want.
While their kindness and helpfulness was amazing, they did not lack professionalism and efficiency.

1. Lots Berlin housing market knowledge - The house buying process in Berlin is long and confusing with many steps (all in German). It was great to have experts who have done this so many times tell us what the right next step is or if something didn’t made sense. In particular, Ilan spent many hours checking our housing documents, reviewing owners meetings minutes to flag all potential issues with us and Ron came with us to all our viewings checking the apartments’ construction quality and asking the hard questions.

2. Efficient, attention to detail with our interests at heart - Ron and Ilan really accommodated our crazy personal schedules and made time for us on weekends and late nights. They never rushed us into any decisions to make their lives easier or close the deal faster. In fact, the opposite - they pushed us to consider if it was truly our dream home. Home buying is a high pressure process in Berlin (low supply, high demand) so there were some moments we felt the need to settle, but they assured us we should wait to see more. So thankful we did!

Honestly, the whole process was so enjoyable, like hanging out with friends :) - You can tell they truly enjoy apartment hunting and really care about you finding a great home. We’re so happy with our new apartment - thanks so much guys!

Ilan and Ron are very professional and helped me through my long process with the German bureaucracy. They always knew what is the right way to act, and how to asses every opportunity.

I came to them with zero knowledge about market real estate and almost zero German, only knowing that I wanted to find an apartment, and move in within the next 9 months.

I chose them, among a few alternatives, because their offer was clear and transparent from the beginning, I liked their practical approach, and I never had a reason to regret my choice. They took me through every step in a professional and extremely responsive way (apartment search, contracts explanation, helping with mortgage and notary), and helped me beyond what was strictly required by their contract.
