Bought a focus from Exeter Tangelo it’s still under their warranty so thought I’d ask them to service it and MOT it so if needed anything it would be covered. We were told car was serviced just before we bought it, rang Tangelo who said they would ring us back, after 4 hrs wife rang again to be told car wasn’t serviced before we bought it and also if we wanted them to service it, it was going to cost us £780 pounds as they would need to change everything! I’d like to know what they are going to change for this price ???? Service team were very in helpful

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my Lexus. Charlie was incredible throughout the entire process. I find used car shopping difficult because it's hard to know how the previous owner treated the vehicle. Without a clear history, you risk inheriting major engine or mechanical failures. My strategy is always to check the service history, owner logs, and small details like boot condition and light body wear. Doing this thoroughly requires a great dealership. Tangelo really went above and beyond to help me verify everything, and I would especially like to thank Charlie Crossfield for his help. Fantastic service and total transparency!

I have had a great experience buying a car from Tangelo car sales in Plymstock Plymouth. From being greeted by the lovely receptionist who quickly took my details and which car I was interested in and enabling me to have the keys so I could have a better look at the car.
I was introduced to Charlie who arranged for me to have a test drive the following day. Following the test drive Charlie talked me through the whole process of the sale and what was included in the price and also what add ons could be had and the cost. Charlie was so helpful without any high pressure sales tactics. He also answered my numerous questions with clarity and in a clear manner.
The paperwork side of the process was done efficiently and smoothly and easy to understand.
The car was spotless when I picked it up. I would not hesitate recommending Tangelo to anyone looking to buy their next car.

What impressed me even more was the after-sales support. The car needed an air conditioning regas, which wasn’t identified in the initial reports, but Tangelo were very quick to respond and offered to reimburse the cost. It’s great to see a company standing behind their cars and looking after customers even after the sale is complete.

Two very satisfactory things made my visit to Tangelo and worthwhile one. First, salesperson Jack Darnell was friendly, straightforward, knowledgable and communicated excellently. Second, the car I bought was exactly as described and an excellent price. A long way to go for it but worth it.

From the start Jack was helpful in forwarding information video and photos of the 2 cars I was interred in, during the transaction I was abroad on holiday, however went smoothly. The car i decided on was promptly transferred from the Exeter depot, and prepared to high standard. Great service Jack well done.
