We're sorry to hear of your experience but Target have not serviced the Help to Buy loans since June the 16th. We passed all customer accounts on to the new provider on Friday the 16th June. You can still contact them on the same emails and customer service number.

Trying to call Target HCA p.o.box 911

Calling Target HCA since 7th June 2023.

Trying to call Target HCA p.o.box 911
Newport NP20 9PA. Tried calling Target over a month but never get reply. Putting on hold over an hour and they disconnect the call. Also answering machine said if you cannot connect to an agent then please emailed it to us. I did email month ago no reply at all. I am really disappointed. Every day I am calling but keep saying. All of our agents are busy at the moment please bear with us. Keep saying over an hour and disconnect the phone. Even I tried first thing in the morning still keep saying the same things. They put it on answering machine and never gets connected we struggling to pay and wanted help but not picking the phone up.

Hi, in relation to Help to Buy, Target no longer service this, we handed the servicing back to them on June the 16th so we're unable to deal with customer enquiries. This is being managed by the new servicing provider.

The worst service!

I've never experienced such poor service with arguably the most important thing - a property purchase / sale.
Over two weeks my solicitor and I have been emailing and calling every single day as we desperately need an extension on the valuation by 12 days otherwise I'll lose the sale. Yet nothing! Managed to get through to someone who told me to email them and it would be picked up urgently....fobbed off obviously as it's now been a week and still nothing!
I've never experienced such shockingly poor service.
Quick to take my admin fee when I was selling as well. Communication wasn't an issue then was it!
You're costing people money here Target as well as a ridiculous amount of stress and anxiety. Sort it bloody out!
Says it all when the reply to these reviews is a sodding copy and paste...WE KNOW you've changed hands yet the service is frustratingly, shockingly, extremely non existent!!!

Unfair Negative Reviews!

I have seen a lot of negative reviews on here that aren't related to Target Group. Before the issues with Lenvi began, we had no issues whatsoever with Target, they answered the phone within minutes, sent over documentation swiftly and were a pleasure to deal with. Shame they no longer look after Help to Buy as it would have saved me a lot of stress and grey hair!

Absolutely discusting customer service…

Absolutely discusting customer service quick enough to reply and ask us to pay £200 admin fee now once paid and sent valuation report still not redemption figure after 5 weeks! Try calling every day get cut off after an hour and when get through advise they will send the figure and they send the same letter asking to pay the fee! This is slowing our house sale down and we could loose this sale! What type of company is this! They are gaining money from us why can’t they just do their job!!!! Would not recommend anyone to use help to buy scheme it is money making on their part!! And when you want to get out of it they do not respond! Never known a company to not respond to emails within 5 weeks!!! Something needs to be done how many people on here are experiencing the same situation! The problem lies with target

This is unbelievable!!!!

This is unbelievable!!!!!
Myself & my solicitor have been trying daily to get hold of a consent to complete form.
They were quick enough taking my admin fee and sending a redemption statement.
I’m getting to the point we’re I’m going to cancel the extra borrowing on my mortgage and cancelling my HTB direct debit !!!! I’m sure then I’ll get a response but maybe I’ll just put them on hold and give them an email address that no one responds to !!!!

Now I'll wait for the response everyone else is getting, so let me make this difficult for you:

Hi EVERY PLEASE READ

Hi EVERY PLEASE READ.

I am in the same boat as you, just starting the process. Spent hours waiting on the phone only to be cut off. Elderbridge (owned by Target group) just hang up on you.

Best thing to do- blow up Lenvi's twitter account with tweets. Their handle is @lenvi_tech. If they won't man the phones, they will man the twitter account as they won't want the appearance of the poor service they are providing.

I also found this number for them online - 0844 811 8039 (no one's picking up this number either). The other number they give for Equniti (the new company taking the DD for the HTB interest, replacing Elderbridge) is 0207 649 1800. That number doesn't seem to be connected.

it all smells a bit fishy

If I could put 0 stars I would

If I could put 0 stars I would.

Horrendous service, sat on the phone for an hour at a time almost every day before getting cut off. Emailed numerous times too.

They need to provide my solicitors with one document to ensure our remortgage went through. Now on a variable interest rate due to the delay and £900 a month extra on our mortgage because of it.

I cannot explain how much stress this has caused us and our solicitors. Cannot believe the customer service.

Marvellous handover to Lenvi/Equiniti…

Marvellous handover to Lenvi/Equiniti on 16th June 2023, Target Group! But let's face it, you have provided equally poor customer service before passing on the torch.

As many others have stated here, incompetency, poor communication, and account chaos were rife in the nearly 5 years you handled my account. Here's hoping this can be a learning point so whoever you inflict yourselves upon in the future has a better level of service.

So!this was the response from Target…

So!this was the response from Target which states quite clearly that

“sinc Friday 16 June 2023, Target no longer administer Help to Buy on behalf of Homes England.“

This maybe so, BUT IT DID NOT STOP THEM FROM ACCEPTING MY MONEY ON THE 15TH JUNE 2023!
so unless this company had no idea this was going to happen with out warning, then they knowingly and underhandedly took my money under false pretence! What!!? You couldn’t tell me to hold off for a couple of days…. If I could give a minus rating, be sure that Target would be minus 5 instead of plus 1.

Yes legally you might have been able to do what you have done… (and eventually I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK be assured of that) but morally you are most certainly lacking.

Target & Lenvi are Incompetent and Appalling Company

It is beyond my belief that such an incompetent and appalling company such a Target Group and now Lenvi exists and let alone be awarded a contract to absolutely ruin peoples finances and lives.
Just like dozen of other fellow citizens here,we are waiting for the same document that they call it a Redemption Statement or Quote since May in order to authorize our solicitor to complete the remortgage deal and pay off the equity loan but we are in July now and no sign of it and instead we received a reply email after 3 weeks, requesting personal information that they already have and we already provided including their payment fee.
Due to their incompetence and close to non existent customer service (its like chasing ghosts) we are having to pay now over 1k a month more on mortgage payments because our current deal has ended,we can not close the remortgage deal with the new provider and we could potentially loose the deal altogether if we do not receive the Redemption Statement from them soon.
Also me and my other halves have been trying to get hold of them on their phone numbers provided for the past 5 days being put on hold for 1 hour at a time and then only to be cut off,it's Shocking.
We do not have any advice to give unfortunately to anyone as how to best get hold of them ( because its impossible) but we should all let everyone know now and fast as how they are mistreating their customers so that maybe someone can put a stop to this nightmare,i will start with our local MP,Newspaper, online reviews anywhere i can get my hands on and i suggest we should all do the same to stop this.

Update on 10/07/2023

There we go just as expected and automatic reply from Target Group, trying to shift the mess they've created for the past 5 years on to someone else and made it worse for picking an incompetent company with non existent customer service to deal with it.
Target HCA is solely to be blamed for this mess they have created and they must be held accountable for ruining their customer finances, causing unnecessary delays, enormous amount of stress and time.

Another customer trying to pay off the help to buy and getting no response.

Well aware the company has changed. But what an absolutely shocking service when you are trying and trying to pay money back!!! What company doesn’t want to take money off you!!!! Honestly a joke and the worst thing I ever did. I can’t wait to get rid of it, when they eventually give us the authority to complete.

We are trying your number!

Can anyone get hold of these people? They reply saying “call this number, email this address” WE ARE! On hold for hours (only for an hour at a time as they cut you off), countless emails not being answered and all I want to do is get an authority to sell!! Our enquires are urgent!

My house sale has been delayed for weeks now because of these and there is a risk of things failing through. Lenvi and target should be ashamed of themselves for messing with peoples finances and houses

I think it’s criminal that you can’t…

I think it’s criminal that you can’t get hold of company to sort out your Help To Buy loan. I think it’s disgusting that you get kicked off the phone after holding for an hour, something I’ve been doing for the past 2 weeks every day on my lunch, trying to speak to a representative. I think it’s verging on evil to take 2 weeks to respond to an email without any acknowledgement of the questions I had in my original email.

Who do these people think they are? If I don’t get my mortgage sorted by the end of this month, I’ll be personally suing them for the additional fees they’ve made me incur by their lack of service.

Target should be ashamed. But why should we be surprised a company affiliated with the government is uncontactable? It feels like a dirty ploy to make more money off of us by ignoring us.
