i guess they are using frozen meat or non halal because it smells like the meat which got blood in it

Unfriendly and also Marinette meat look like all is going off then they marinate it because soon you open the bag it’s very bad smelling many time we take it back they say sorry and they supposed to be exchanged but they don’t

They do a 2 whole chickens for £5 deal or 1 for £3

I bought 1.

As soon as I opened the packet, I could smell rancid old oil.

Once the chicken was cooked, the smell was still there

I ate about a quarter (luckily) and just couldn't eat anymore, just tasted rancid.

Had an upset stomach a couple of hours later.

Never again!!!!

Today I bought chicken hearts and chicken Gizzards in Streatham shop. after an hour, I wanted to cook it, but it is not of good quality, it smells very bad- disgusting. I was sold a product of poor quality

Purchased 2 marinated chickens for £5 sounded and looked like a fantastic deal. Roasted the same night, the chicken was off,smell.

I would avoid using Tariq
Absolutely disgusting how do you justify selling selling meat , chicken that is not fit for human consumption.

I purchased lamb and other meats and now thinking if it's off.

Tariq meats need to be held to account.

We ordered online for a barbecue. We were very disappointed that the meat was off. Shame on you Tariq halal for sending off meat to your customers. Also the people that work there have no interpersonal skills. Rude obnoxious I can't believe people actually want to go there. Also they are overpriced

Unfortunately poor value. I ordered bone in ribeye from Tariq. They were about 5mm thick. I ordered the same from Saffron Alley (£2.50 more expensive) and they were 30mm thick. I took a picture but there’s no option here to provide a comparison. Packaging was great though. Unfortunately first and last order.

Bought 2 packs of boneless chicken thighs of Tariq halal from Sainsburys on the 3rd July, expiry date was 7th July. Opened one and had a slight smell, cooked it and both me and my child had a terrible stomach pain the next day. The second packet had a bad smell and sticky texture which didnt go away after washing. This is the third time this has happened and all gone in the bin. Waste of my time and money. Definitely will not be purchasing again, such a shame as we dont have any decent halal meat suppliers here and relied on them being a so called reputable brand.

Worst customer service I've ever faced. Also they have increased their prices and the quality has gone downhill. They sold me off. Meat The people that work there are rude and also have no customer skills. I hope other meat shops take over due to bad quality product and bad customer service

I would not even give one star to this place. Staff never friendly they never smile or talk nicely they never welcoming.
I visited Stratford the mall Tariq halal meats and this security at the door just kept staring at people. I had just finished work and I was on the phone I went in to buy some burgers and I forgot to close the freezer he came up to me and in my personal space and said ‘ close the freezer if u open’I closed it and I said to him there is polite way of saying something. Then he started yelling at me and shouting ‘ I don’t need to be polite manner’ then he was raising his voice making fun of me laughing and yelling at the same time for long time when I said to him show some respect I am a woman and I am a customer he was very aggressive and he was threatening me. I called the manager and manager really didn’t do much all men and women staff was just looking at the drama they never came to stop him once. There was so much staff but did not even bother coming forward.manager did come after good 15 min and I waited I explained what happened even then security man kept shouting yelling and coming so close to me as he was about to hit me and manager was in middle trying to stop him and he sent him in. This went on for good 30 min but security man did not say sorry for his Unacceptable behaviour. His name was I believe ‘jurgo’ unless they gave me his name wrong. He was not even wearing his name batch. Anyway manager was not even very helpful he just gave me his name and said ‘sorry’ that’s all

Stay far away from them as looks like they are not halal. I have asked them for the certification which they are not able to provide. No where on their website is mentioned about their abattoir and if it the meat is stunned or non stunned. Their name is not available in the list of HMC, so i.e., stunned meat is not halal. The fatwah related to "stunned meat is halal" has no value or weight.

Staff are good and friendly BUT the meat espc chiken are often off , smelly (and the premises has this odd smell too )
Often get disapointed because premarrinated meats are not enough seasoned chiken pieces has hair on them . Not appealing at all
Would really like the owners and staff to pull their weight and fix up their products .

Amazing service over the counter staff. Truly asset to the organisation as they had all the meat cut properly to my requirements and giving suggestions payiently. Definitely recommending to family and friends for quality and efficient service at Croydon branch!

I'm not a person to normally leave negative reviews but Tariqs Halal Meat online have cancelled 3 orders and taken 3 payments from me !!! Absolute shambles of a company , I have been a loyal customer and used tariqs halal many times before but its time to change supplier. and save myself the hassle and buy from saffron alley or Hill farms finest. instead of these cow boys

Went to get Beef shanks and I asked the butcher to cut at certain thickness and it was cut wrong. I was told that I had to buy that as it would go to waste even though I asked for certain thickness.
I had to buy it to save the argument, tried to make the shanks the next day and there was smell coming of it even when it was in a fridge .
I would not go there again. That is Tariq Halal Butchers in Reading.

Tariq halal meat is the worst form of non halal meat.
what could be more worse than having a meat with smell. they sent me smelly mince chicken thigh meat which I ordered online. I complained to them. their response was disappointing. instead of acknowledging they insisted that their meat was fine
I threw the meat away. they did not refund or replace the items.

The store in reading oxford is a put off. Been there twice and each time one of the workers play on their phone. I understand they wear gloves but what put me off was a guy touching their phone screen and then soon after and cutting up meat!! is a massive put off. These guys need hygiene training. Guys remember you are taking your phone into the toilets!, travelling with your phone and touching doors, putting your phone in your pockets and so forth. Bacteria spreads ....it is very disgusting!!!!one guy just leaned against the cutting area playing on their phone, I've seen a tall man with grey black beard and hair on his phone and then touching the meat!!!
