Horrendous shipping delays
Horrendous shipping delays with no explanation or compensation just due to ‘unknown delay’ been told it had arrived in the UK on the 6th June and then apparently it arrived in the UK again on the 19th of June. Supposed to be delivered over a month ago now.

I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering promotional bundles from Tarte to read customer reviews carefully before purchasing.
I placed an order for two promotional bundles costing £140 and waited almost a month for them to arrive. When they finally did, five items were missing, including some of the main products that were the entire reason I placed the order in the first place: two mascaras, a foundation, a concealer and an additional bundle item.
What followed was more frustrating than the missing items themselves.
My initial offer from Tarte was a refund of just £42 for all five missing items. This included two mascaras, a foundation and a concealer – products which, if purchased individually, have a significantly higher retail value. Had I accepted that offer, I would have been left paying over the odds for the remaining products in the bundles, many of which I would never have chosen to purchase on their own.
I then spent the next two weeks exchanging multiple emails with customer services trying to obtain a fair resolution. At no point was I asking for compensation, freebies or special treatment. I simply wanted Tarte to either provide the products I had paid for or refund me appropriately for the items they had failed to supply.
During this process I researched other customer reviews and was concerned to find multiple reports from customers describing missing items, missing hero products from promotional bundles, disputes over refund values and lengthy customer service interactions to resolve problems. Reading those reviews made me feel that my experience may not have been an isolated incident.
The most disappointing part is that the final outcome still leaves me with products I would not have purchased on their own, even at a discounted price. The value of the bundles was in the key products that were missing from my order. Once those were removed, the remaining products were not something I would ever have spent my money on individually.
Customer service is not judged by how a company performs when everything goes right. It is judged by how it responds when things go wrong. In my case, after waiting almost a month for delivery, it took a further two weeks of persistent emails to reach a resolution that should have been straightforward from the beginning.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company puts them right. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that the burden of resolving Tarte’s mistake fell entirely on me as the customer.
Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about ordering promotional bundles from Tarte again.

My order was placed on May 17th and it took 10 days to leave their warehouse and more than a month to reach me in Europe. For that matter I give only 4 stars. But I have received all of the items and they are really nice.

I placed my order on May 17, with an estimated delivery date of May 25–29. After the order was dispatched, the delivery window was pushed back to June 5–10, and then I received another notification saying the shipment had been delayed.
Since then, there has been no meaningful update on the tracking. The last tracking information was posted on June 2, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I still have not received a clear explanation of what is happening or when I can expect my order.
This was my first purchase from the company, and unfortunately it has been a frustrating experience. Long delays, poor communication, and no clear resolution have left me with very little confidence in ordering again.
I would not recommend based on my experience.

I placed my order on May 15th, and at checkout it stated that my order would be delivered around May 26th.
As of June 9th, my order has still not been delivered. According to the tracking information, my package is still in transit by airplane.
Whenever I contact customer service, I keep receiving the same response: that the delivery is still within the estimated timeframe and that I need to be patient. However, they have not even met their own delivery date. In fact, the package was only shipped after the promised delivery date had already passed, so it was already late from the start.
I have frozen my payment because I am not willing to pay another cent to this company. They have been completely unhelpful and have done nothing to resolve the situation.
This was the first and definitely the last time I have ordered from this company!

Ordered on 15 May. The order didn't even ship until the original estimated delivery window given in my confirmation email was already ending.
To make matters worse, the actual shipping email secretly pushed the delivery date back. The tracking for that new date then completely froze for 5 days with zero updates.
When I reached out to customer service for help, they gave a completely generic, bot-like reply and simply extended the deadline by another week and a half with absolutely no actual resolution.Order still not here!
Save yourself the headache and do not order from this company.
Awful service and no product
I placed an order with Tarte Cosmetics on 15th May and have had nothing but a frustrating experience since. It has now been over three weeks, and the items still haven't arrived.
I was given an official delivery window which has now completely passed. When I reached out to customer service to request a refund due to the delay, I was given a generic response brushing off my concerns. To make matters worse, I am now receiving repetitive, automated emails days apart claiming the package has "arrived in the destination country" with absolutely no real progress or updated local tracking information.
The delivery window has been missed, the customer service is incredibly poor, and they are refusing to issue a refund for items I haven't received.
I will now have to escalate this through my bank to get my money back. I highly recommend customers avoid ordering directly from their website. Absolutely shocking service.

They used to be fast in both reply and delivery, but that ship has sailed, I guess.
Ordered May 16th
Ordered May 16th, no update on delivery but after contacting they’ve advised it’s delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances”. I think it’s likely due to supply/demand issue from their 7 for £70 offer.
It’ll be interesting to see if what I have ordered actually arrives, and if it’s correct.
I’ve previously (5 years ago) ordered from tarte for the same promotion and found delivery and products excellent however their delivery and lack of updates this time have let them down.
“They Cancelled My Order Without Reason, Support Is Useless – Never Buying From Tarte Again!”
I placed an order on Tarte’s website. There was a minor mistake on my side, but instead of helping me fix it, they cancelled several of my orders without any proper explanation. When I contacted customer support, they didn’t offer any real solution. They just said: “Your order is cancelled, wait 30 days for the refund/authorization hold to be removed.”
No logical explanation, no sincere apology, no helpful option. Just a cold, generic, robotic message that shows zero respect for customers.
This company:

Very disappointed with the shipping and customer service. I placed my order on May 16th and still haven’t received my package. I contacted customer service several times, but all I got were automatic responses with no real help at all. These items were supposed to be gifts, so the delay is especially frustrating. Waiting almost a month for a package is just unacceptable.
Would never order again to Europe
I have waited for 14 days from the ordering day that my order would be shipped. I already got 6 days ago the shipping ID for the paracel but Tarte has still not ordered delivery for my paracel. So it has an ID but it has not moved one bit at all. I am currently thinking if my Klarna Invoice will go out of order and do I need to pay the invoice since there is no delivery up for this order. And I could add that there are no customer service, an AI-agent is giving the answers to me straight up in emails.

tarte is an absolute scam i ordered the seven items bundle and it charged me 77 dollars immediately and its been two weeks since i ordered and it still hasn't gone through first shipping phase yet this is absolutely horrendous and I genuinely hope this trash company shuts down soon. the customer service is also ass I emailed like 20 times and I got no response and their AI bot is nasty it doesnt give the answer i am looking for. overall horrible experience

Dont order from this company! Absolute rip off! I ordered 3 items in March and have emailed 4 times about where they are only to receive the exact same email response saying " orders from international shipping may take a few weeks" they give you a tracking link that constantly says your items are in " Clayton USA" and doesn't give you any other information, it's the same email everytime, i asked for a refund after the 4th email and was completely ignored, absolute scam, save your money
