Would give 0 if I could. Had 3 orders in for Christmas because of apparent good deals over Black Friday. Not ONE SINGLE ORDER made it to even being dispatched. Got to the point where I was emailing daily, constant lies and told different days the items were apparently dispatched. They could never prove ANYTHING was sent to any courier. Each tracking number provided wasn’t recognised and there was several provided for each item!!! Liars, scammers! Just want your money so they can send a bunch of their mates to an exotic island while they don’t bother to even ship your orders! Absolute disgrace. 1 order going wrong, acceptable, a second is odd. A third is just a joke. They are laughing at us!!!!
Order never arrived, no refund
Order never arrived. Contacted customer support and they could not provide an update. Later they responded and said that the order was lost due to unforeseen circumstances and would issue refund. Did not receive refund either.
Expired goods and bad customer service

Till today, nobody bothers to reply to my emails and to this message too. I even reached out to their higher level management but nobody replied me. I wonder if the management reads these messages and know what is happening.

The customer service is very bad. They don’t reply to messages and at times after one reply they just don’t bother to follow up or reply anymore.
I placed an order for the Tarte Mystery Box 2025 together with some other items on 30 October, 2025. Upon receiving it on 20 November , I found that 4 of the items have expired. I emailed them on 22 November and informed and attached photos of the items and expiry dates to them but till today no reply.
This is not the first time I have received expired products.
Don’t be fooled by their gifts and offers as they are selling and giving away expired products. Or just putting it for sale at a low price!!
How could they be selling expired products or even as gifts to customers??
This is very deceiving disappointing!

Order never arrived and no refund issued
My order never arrived even though it was a tracked delivery. They told me that they'd issued a refund as they were unable to offer a replacement within 10-14 working days. I never received the refund and when I chased this up they claimed there had been an error on their systems and that they'd process the refund again and I'd have to wait a further 10-14 working days. I've not yet received this refund.
Foundation color change
Foreign customer service rep was completely ineffective and only repeated the same scripted lines. PATHETIC.
I tried to replace my Amazonian clay foundation when it was almost gone. I use the shade light medium neutral, which is the number 26N. The shade is completely different. It’s now a light pink. It used to be a very pale beige with no pink undertones and now I’m getting very aggravated with the company. This has happened twice, that is, that the shade was completely different. I will bring the new package back to Ulta AGAIN and get a refund and never buy Tarte again.
Very disappointed wrong item arrive…plus its a dupe
Very disappointed wrong item arrive after using their make up app...I use light pink under eye and tan brown arrived!!! PLUS IT HAS Phansta printed on it not Tarte and you can pick up Phansta on line for under £7 do yourself a huge favour and google it there sending out phansta products they charged me £29 for same product!!! Lucky i got a discount or it would of bee. £29.00 entire face is up and I don't get spots period!! Only now aged 51 WYF is going on??? Scammed 10000% there is a law suit list for products in the item that is hazardous...google all i have said ...trust me i was gobsmacked...very unkind and unfair...I tried the product as it was suggested by make up app after photo and look horrendous...gutted.

not sure why there`s so many negative reviews. This hasn`t been my experience at all. I have ordered 3 times from Tarte and every order has arrived in about a week (USA-UK) . Great offers and the lip plump and juicy shift sticks are fantastic as are the tinted products and primers.
All arrived in perfect condition and well packed. Wouldn`t hesitate to buy again. Free shipping too.
Scammers/ don't accept returns
Scammers. I ordered same items twice as payment wasn't going through.
When i received same order twice, contacted support to guide me how i can return as there is no option on the website for return. Been told we don't accept returns as this is first time happened where someone only post something for business and don't accept returns. Really disappointed.
Horrible service
Horrible service, these people are demonic! I wouldn't recommend ordering from the actual tarte cosmetics site. If you sense a negative vibe believe it for what it is. They will intentionally send you a tainted product. I buy the shape tape concealer regularly from ulta so im very familiar with it and never had any issues with it. So glad I was smart enough to test a tiny amount on my hand first. Never again will I order from this website.

Disappointed with Tarte’s customer service – issue unresolved for months
I placed an order directly on Tarte’s official website using my debit card — not through PayPal. The charge clearly appears under “Tarte Inc.” on my bank statement, and I’ve already sent multiple screenshots confirming this.
Despite contacting customer support several times over the past six months, the issue is still unresolved. Even worse, they continue referring me to PayPal, which has nothing to do with my order. It's incredibly frustrating.
I used to love Tarte products and was a loyal customer, but this experience has completely changed my opinion. The lack of responsibility and customer care is unacceptable. I feel ignored and disrespected.
All I want is for someone at Tarte to take this issue seriously and provide a real solution — not just automated or copy-paste responses.

Just bought the maracuja juicy lip vinyl to try, don't sell the original lipsticks, omg this is horrible, goes on very thick, doesn't glide along your lips and very sticky. Bring back the old maracuja juicy lipsticks

My acquaintance with the Tarte brand did not work out. On Black Friday, I placed an order for 2 palettes and the Best of Maracuja Juicy Lips Set. Delivery was arranged to Germany. I waited for delivery for more than 3 weeks (which is understandable, since there were promotions and it was the pre-holiday time), but I hoped that I would definitely receive it by Christmas, since I planned to use the products for the holiday. On December 24, the delivery was already on its way to me, when I received a notification about the cancellation of the delivery and that the parcel would be sent back to the sender. As it turned out, the sender did not indicate my house number. Because of this, the service did not have the right to deliver the parcel, only to send it back to America - no other choice, no matter how I tried to immediately resolve this issue through the delivery service. On the same day, I contacted Tarte customer support. But unfortunately, they could not even offer to resend the parcel, correcting the address to the correct one. Instead, they returned my money and offered a 30% discount on my next purchase. but the prices that were on Black Friday are no longer relevant and the lipstick set is no longer available, which doesn't even allow me to re-order for the same price :) so I’m left without an order, without the possibility of re-ordering and in a bad mood for Christmas, very disappointing

If I could leave no star I would. They advertise easy returns yes they get your return but you never receive a refund or exchange. Buyer be ware.
Beautiful products and delivered on time
I placed an order for some makeup my daughter wanted for Christmas on the 10th December and after reading the reviews I nearly didn’t bother but I must say the order arrived as if promised by 19th December I was kept up to date with delivery as it comes from America and the products I received were beautiful only sorry I didn’t order some for myself dnt be put off by the reviews!
