My new LEAST favorite company

I am going to make it my life's mission to get my place of work to drop these clowns. EVERY SINGLE claim is now being denied for the most common charges. Eye doctor appointments, orthodontist visits, dentist visits. It's MY money!! I literally had to submit an IT ticket that took over a week for them to respond to get any kind of reason why these standard claims were being denied - claims that were NOT denied a year ago. I submitted verification five times to no avail, I finally called and yelled at them before getting a claim approved. Absolutely crap company, they're doing their best to cosplay a modern insurance company - except it's MY money!!

I wish I could give 0 stars

I wish I could give 0 stars, cause that’s what this company deserves. When you call customer service, they do not have any real answers to your questions. Let just put in verification requirements to be “reviewed” with no follow up. I had to provide receipts for a copay as well as for an ultrasound. I provided ITEMIZED receipts directly from the Dr’s office and they still won’t accept it. My account has been locked because of this, and I cannot make purchases until apparently they continue to review the same documentation. Like… this is MY money I’m using. What a goddamn waste.

This is the worst company we have Ever…

This is the worst company we have Ever dealt with. Everytime the card is used they make it as an ineligible expense. You then have to go out of your way to try to provide proof to them, when it's used for something you had a right to use it for. I am done with HSA if they don't get rid of this pathetic company!!! I wish I could give them no stars!!!!!!!

Stay far away from this company

Stay far away from this company. My experience has been that they deny reimbursements even when clear written documentation is provided as requested It is as if they create layers and layers of administrative burden so as not to reimburse. Customer service is poor and when asking to speak to a supervisor they inform you that the supervisor will give you the same answer before you even speak to the supervisor. Following this they put you on hold for extended period of time hoping you will hang up hence it seems that any appeal to a supervisor is already determined in advance of your appeal if you do have the opportunity and time to wait on the phone

In the opinion their business practices fall far short of what customers should expect and what is common practice industry standards.

I would not recommend doing business with

Waste of time trying to get reimbursed

I just ended a call with customer service. Talking with their CS is a waste of time. I submitted receipts for both my Dr's visit and the Uber ride to and from, and they still denied the claim. Not to mention, they were only offering pennies compared to the actual cost. Its as if you are asking to use their money not yours. I am most unhappy with this provider, and hoping my job will find another provider for the next open enrollment.

HORRIBLE!!

HORRIBLE!!! Save yourself the aggravation of signing up for this. I’ve trying to get reimbursed, talk to a live agent or get an email back & have gotten NOWHERE. This is truly a terrible company to do business with. I have had other HSA accounts in years past & had NEVER had as many issues as I do with TASC. I can’t wait for my fiscal year to end and be done with this company.

Horrible service

Bad. Regularly denies rebursements even after all documents are provided. Will not use them next year and suggesting to employer to move to another benefits admin.

Do not recommend

I have a coworker who gets a GYM MEMBERSHIP PAID FOR BY THEIR FLEXIBLE SPEDNING CARD, yet they consistently deny my doctors office copays and medication copays. This utterly ridiculous as I have medical issues and my coworker DOES NOT. She is not obese and has zero medical issues. Next year I will not be reenrolling as this company seems like just a scam. Will go through the necessary steps to see if my company can change who they go through for flexible spending so it benefits the workers and the people like me who have a ton of medical expenses.

It took a month for me to get eyeglasses...

It took a month for me to get a warby parker rx eyeglass order fulfilled. My order kept being declined, but WP couldn't see the decline code and TASC never once informed me of a decline. When I finally learn I'm $7 dollars short on the transaction after having it run multiple times over a month due to the lack of communication from TASC, I finally run it for the exact amount on the card and it was still denied. So I contact WP for 2 hrs, and TASC for another 1 hour to get resolution. At first TASC transferred me telling me they couldn't' run transactions with WP on the line, even after claiming they couldn't locate the transaction in question. Eventually they agree to, and it takes all of 5 minutes for the transaction to run successfully. This morning, after having both parties on the line yesterday---I'm now being asked to provide additional verification...for eyeglasses.

I'm not sure this place is worth the tax savings given the sheer amount of man hours it took for me to get glasses. Groupon is easier if you get glasses and exam for a flat rate fee, than calling and dealing with TASC and 3rd parties.

NEGATIVE STARS…

NEGATIVE STARS…. what a complete joke- Nobody gives the same answers and 3 weeks for reimbursements that are mostly denied for reasons that aren’t relevant

Zero stars

It’s a shame I can’t leave a zero star review. This company took over for another and now they are asking for tons of paperwork for very simple claims. The claims process is incredibly time consuming, then I have to jump through hoops to get the “reimbursed” money back. For me specifically, they are handling medical claims relating to foster kids but they clearly have NO IDEA what the process looks like for foster parents. I was told today to just go to my doctor’s patient portal; the lady was super confused when I told her that I can’t access patient portals as a foster parent. I’m just trying to claim mileage and they want a medical coded EOB. The previous company accepted the same doctor’s note I give to the school.

Can I give them a zero?

If I could give a zero, I would. The claim processors are a bunch of incompetent people who relish in denying reimbursement claims for random reasons. Claims that were approved for years are now denied as "ineligible expense" and out-of-pocket dental expenses (like CT scan) that are not covered by insurance are all of a sudden denied! Go figure.

Thet randomly decide to not reimburse…

Thet randomly decide to not reimburse saying they cannot verify. Well a box of bandaids is an allowable expense and that receipt does not have a my name and code. But I submit a charge for my deductible with date of service, name, hospital name and they reject three times for needing more information. Horrible and tired of esclating for the 5th time this year.

THE WORST !

1. It took 6 months to receive my benefit card
2. All claims prior to that I had to pay out of pocket are being denied even after submitting the bill as prompted during the online claim process.
3. I contest the denial via the customer service portal, and the response is "file a new claim".
UNACCEPTABLE. If my employer does not drop Tasc for next year I will be cancelling my participation.

I really wish I could give zero stars…Stay away from TASC

I really wish I could give zero stars for this company. We have the flex spending for dental and vision through the State of Louisiana. It has been nothing but issues since day one. Could not set up online access. They required human resources to send in something verifying my email address. They would not allow me to add my email address myself after verifying all my personal information. So I still 7 months later cannot set up an online account. Now, they need me to verify transactions on the online portal or they will not pay for them. The portal they are denying me access to!!! Oh, and they also changed banks in the middle of the year with no prior warning so my old card did not work when my wife went in for dental work. We had to pay out of pocket. We cannot get reimbursed because again we cannot get into the online portal. Not to mention, it depends on who you get on the phone each day. I work everyday and can't be calling to take care of this garbage. My wife takes care of all our information. 5 different people had no problem talking to my wife to take care of the information. We came across one lady who would not speak to her unless I am there too. I am sorry I cannot stop work to verify that you can talk to my wife to take care of our business. So frustrating. Stay far away from this company. Don't sign up for a flex spending. It would be 100% better to put that money in a savings account and use it that way.

It gets worse and worse every year

It gets worse and worse every year. They started declining our cards for transactions that have been working for the past 2 years, then declined the reimbursement request and require a tax form-esque document and an essay to be MAILED OR FAXED TO THEM. I'm literally ready to leave my company over it.

They take your money and make it impossible to access your own funds!!!

They take your money, make it impossible to access your funds, and do not clearly mark need for extra documentation on their website. Horrible customer service makes it clear they have no desire to help consumers, only to take your money. Had I read the reviews of TASC online, I would NEVER have signed up for an FSA account. The time needed to deal with this terrible company is NOT worth the little money you save pretax. I would give TASC zero stars it that was an option. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY ACCOUNTS WITH TASC. You will regret it and there is no way to opt out once you realize your mistake!!!

One because I couldn't go lower

They are horrible about getting reimbursements. One usually has to submit the same reimbursement request multiple times often, dozens to get your money back. It makes me wonder if they get to keep some or all of the money you contribute that doesn't get spent.
